With Henrik Lundqvist doubtful to play tomorrow, Talbot is your likely Rangers starter.

Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in his NHL debut vs. the Flyers on Thursday. It was a solid effort by the 26-year-old but he was still on the hook for the loss. He will have an even tougher matchup on Saturday when he faces a veteran Red Wings team. On a busy NHL day, there are probably going to be better options for you.

Cam Talbot will make his NHL debut tomorrow vs Philadelphia.

Talbot is 4-0-1 with a 2.49 GAA and .924 SV% in five appearances with Hartford (AHL) this season. If the Rangers were better offensively and defensively, he might make for a good spot start against the Flyers. However, he would be a risky option.

Travis Hamonic is being evaluated today for an undisclosed injury. There are reports that he is dealing with a shoulder injury but Arthur Staple of Newsday reports he is being tested for a concussion.

Hamonic is a key member of the Islanders blueline. With the season around the corner they are hoping this is not a long term injury. We will like get an update on Hamonic tomorrow. Monitor his status as the season draws near.

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired left-winger David Perron from the Blues in exchange for left-winger Magnus Paajarvi and a 2014 second-round draft pick.

Perron, 25, was drafted by St. Louis in the 1st Round, 26th overall in the 2007 entry draft. The Sherbrooke, Quebec native had 25 points with the Blues last season, scoring 10 goals and 15 assists in 48 games. He had a career high 50 points in 2009. Perron has three more years left on his contract at a cap hit of just over $3.8 million.
