Gibson allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Ducks loss to the Blues on Sunday. Gibson had a tough two-game stint vs. St. Louis and has now lost three in a row while allowing a combined 10 goals on 63 shots (.841 SV%). Tonight he faces a Kings team that Gibson has gone 1-2-0 with a .929 SV% against over the last two seasons.
Talbot allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Wild's overtime win over the Avalanche on Sunday. It was a solid return to the crease for the veteran netminder, who missed the previous four games with a lower-body issue. On Tuesday he'll be looking for another win over the Avalanche, who will be without Nathan MacKinnon.
Talbot has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury that he suffered vs. the Sharks on January 22nd. Kaapo Kahkonen will make his fourth straight start but Talbot will backup and should be available to start Sunday.
Larkin missed Thursday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision in Dallas. Head coach Jeff Blashill anticipates that Larkin will be available tonight but monitor his status during warmups.
Leonard has appeared in all seven games this season but will be scratched Thursday in Colorado. The rookie had two assists in the season opener but has been held pointless in the last six games. Stefan Noesen will replace him in the lineup.
Getting added to the COVID-19 reserve list means that DeBrincat likely will not be available for the Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back in Nashville. DeBrincat's roommate Adam Boqvist was also added to the list, so Chicago could be without two of their best offensive weapons in a tough series with the Predators.
Talbot was forced to leave Friday's game vs. the Sharks with a lower-body injury and will miss the re-match on Sunday. With Talbot sidelined, Kaapo Kahkonen gets the start today and Andrew Hammond will back him up.
Hamonic was hurt in the third period of Wednesday's game and was placed on IR prior to Thursday's game vs. the Canadiens. With Hamonic out, Brogan Rafferty was added to the 23-man roster and either he or Jordie Benn will draw into the lineup on Thursday.
Both Hamonic and Alex Edler left Wednesday's game vs. Montreal and did not return. During his postgame press availability, head coach Travis Green did not have an update on either defenseman. If both aren't available for Thursday's game, look for Olli Juolevi and Jordie Benn to be in the lineup.
