Talbot allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Oilers win in Carolina on Tuesday. Talbot has won five of his last six starts while allowing just 11 goals on 206 shots (.947 SV%). Surprisingly he struggled in his first start against a bad Ottawa team, but should make for a solid start start tonight vs. a banged up Senators squad.

Gibson allowed two goals on 17 shots in the Ducks win over the Devils on Sunday. Gibson has won three in a row while posting a 1.33 GAA, .949 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he takes on the Flames for the fourth time this season—he is 1-2-0 with a 2.05 GAA and .928 SV% in the first three meetings.

Talbot allowed two goals on 42 shots in the Oilers win in Florida on Saturday. Talbot has won four of his last five games while posting a 1.58 GAA and .954 SV% and draws a nice matchup tonight in Carolina. The Hurricanes comes in having lost 11 of their last 15 games entering play on Tuesday.

After two tough outing, Wednesday was a nice outing for Gibson, who has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .933 SV% in March. He is a must-start against a Red Wings team that is on the tail-end of a back-to-back and one an eight-game losing skid.

Talbot stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Oilers win over the Islanders on Thursday. Talbot followed up a three-game losing streak with two straight wins, stopping 62 of 66 shots (.939 SV%). The 30-year-old made 29 saves on 31 shots in a 3-2 win in his first start against the Wild this season.

Gibson stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Ducks shutout win over the Capitals on Tuesday. Gibson has won six in a row while allowing just nine goals on 207 shots (.957 SV%). Gibson has been excellent as of late, but draws a tough matchup in Nashville. In his first start vs. the Predators, Gibson allowed four goals on 29 shots in a 5-2 loss in early-November.

Gibson allowed three goals on 40 shots in the Ducks win over the Blackhawks on Sunday. Gibson has won five in a row while allowing just nine goals on 171 shots (.947 SV%). Tonight he will face the Capitals for the second time this season—he allowed three goals on 27 shots in a 3-2 OT loss in Washington in mid-December.

The Blackhawks have signed Erik Gustafsson to a two-year contract extension.

Gustafsson was set to become a restricted free agent at the end of the season but is now signed through the 2019-20 season. The 25-year-old defenseman was drafted in the fourth round (No.93 overall) in 2012 and has picked up five points (1G / 4A) in 19 games with the Blackhawks this season.

Talbot allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Oilers loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Talbot has lost three in a row with a 3.70 GAA and .902 SV%. Despite his recent struggles, he has a good matchup tonight with the Coyotes in town—Talbot is 1-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .924 SV% in two previous starts against Arizona this season.
