Smith surrendered two goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes’ 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. The W snapped a three-game losing streak for Smith and marked his third of the season. Smith’s 3.63 GAA and .880 SV% leave little to be desired right now, but there are signs of improvement, but that still doesn’t mean you start him tonight in Anaheim.

Murray's setback is presumably related to his knee injury that forced him to miss the start of the season. Murray had played in the last four games after missing the first seven, but it looks like he could be out for a bit again. The troubles with his knee continue.
Murray missed Monday's practice for a "maintenance day", but his absence again this morning suggests it is more and that he might not be in the lineup tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Frederic St. Denis will replace Murray if he can not go.
