Smith leads the Coyotes onto the ice for warmups.

Smith allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Coyotes 2-1 loss to the Panthers on Thursday. He has lost four of his last five starts with a 3.53 GAA and .885 SV%. His struggles make him a risky fantasy start right now, but against the winless Hurricanes he should be able to pick up a W.

Smith will start in goal on Thursday night.

Smith was yanked 50 mintues into Tuesday's contest after he allowed six goals on 33 shots in a 7-3 loss to the Lightning. After two nice outings in a row, Smith allowed six goals for the third time in six starts. He has a terrible 4.29 GAA and .858 SV% this season, but does draw a good matchup tonight vs. the Panthers. It is a matter of if you are brave enough to start him.

Smith leads the Coyotes onto the ice for warmups.

Smith held the Panthers to just one goal on 24 shots in Saturday's overtime win. Since getting off to a real ugly start, Smith has shut the door on 50 of the last 53 shots (.943 SV%) he has faced in his last two starts. He draws a very difficult matchup against his former team in Tampa Bay.

Draisaitl will play his tenth game on Wednesday, burning his first year of his Entry Level Contract (ELC).

Draisaitl, 19, scored his first NHL goal last Friday and sits with three points (1G / 2A) in hie first nine NHL games. Game 39 becomes the new deadline, if he goes back to junior before that time he will lose the first year of his ELC, but none of his unrestricted free agent status.

Leon Draisaitl
Murray (knee) has been activated from IR and will play on Sunday.

Murray will make his season debut tonight after rehabbing a knee injury that he suffered in the preseason. Murray was the second overall pick in the 2012 draft and is a tremendously talented offensive defenseman who has four goals and 17 assists in 66 carer NHL games. Expect him to be paired with James Wisniewski and play a big part on the Columbus power-play.

Smith gets the call for the Coyotes on Saturday.

Smith allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Coyotes 2-0 loss to the Wild on Thursday. It was a much improved game compared to his first three starts of the season. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come for Smith owners and Coyotes fans alike. He has a great matchup tonight against the Panthers 29th ranked offence (1.50 G/PG)

Smith will be back in goal for the Coyotes.

Smith allowed six goals on 36 shots in a blowout 6-1 loss to the Blues last Saturday. He sat on Tuesday but the Coyotes will return to their number-1 netminder tonight in Minnesota. He has posted a 5.34 GAA and .822 SV% in his first three starts, but Arizona is confident Smith will be able to find his game. They still want him to start 55-60 games this season.

Griffith is back on the Bruins top-line.

Griffith was recalled on Monday after spending the weekend in Providence (AHL) and will play on the top-line with David Krejci and Milan Lucic tonight vs. San Jose. He has no points, a minus-2 rating and four shots in three games with the Bruins this season.

Seth Griffith
Murray (knee) will travel with the team to California.

Murray has not played this season but has been practicing with the team for nearly two weeks, which is a great sign that he is nearing his season debut. Traveling with the team leaves the possibility that the young defenseman will play on the road-trip, but that is not a guarantee at this point.

The Bruins have recalled Seth Griffith from Providence (AHL).

The Bruins sent Griffith down to play over the weekend but have recalled him to begin the week. He has three points (2G / 1A) in three games with Providence, but has yet to break onto the score sheet in three games with Boston.

Seth Griffith
Smith will start on Saturday vs. the Blues.

Smith allowed four goals on 27 shots in a 6-4 win over the Oilers on Wednesday. It was his first win of the season, but it was not a great outing for him. He has allowed 10 goals in his first two contests while posting an ugly .815 SV%. He should be avoided tonight with the Blues in town.

Mike Smith
Pickard will make his first NHL start on Saturday.

With Semyon Varlamov and Reto Berra both dealing with injuries, Pickard will make his first NHL start tonight. He allowed four goals on 27 shots in a relief effort loss to the Senators on Thursday. He is good young goaltender, but is not a great fantasy option tonight vs. the Habs.

Calvin Pickard
Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) will play on Friday vs. Vancouver.

Nugent-Hopkins missed the last two games, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Canucks. The first line rushes he took were with Nail Yakupov and Teddy Purcell, but then he was reportedly between Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall at the end of practice, so expect him to be in his usual spot on the top-line. He has one assist in two games.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) appears ready to return to the Oilers lineup.

Nugent-Hopkins is on the ice for the Oilers morning skate and is participating in line rushes, which suggests he will return to the lineup tonight after missing the last two games. RNH is skating on the third line with Nail Yakupov and Teddy Purcell. Monitor his status following the morning skate.

The Oilers have sent Darnell Nurse back to the OHL.

Nurse had no points with a minus-2 rating and two shots in his first two NHL games. The 19-year-old will get one more year of junior and have a chance to stick with the Oilers full-time next season. He had 13 goals with 37 assists (50 points) in 64 games with Sault Ste. Marie (OHL) last season.
