Lazar was acquired from the Sabres on Sunday and will be a game-time decision for his Bruins' debut on Tuesday. Lazar centred the fourth line with Sean Kuraly and Chris Wagner in the morning skate.

Lazar has not played since March 31st due to a lower-body injury but will likely serve as a fourth-line option in Boston once he's healthy. Lazar doesn't provide much offensive but was very solid in Buffalo's bottom-6 this year.

The Blackhawks will sit Janmark a few days before the trade deadline to protect one of their potential trade pieces. Janmark has scored 10 goals with nine assists (19 points) in 41 games in his first season with the Blackhawks.

Lazar suffered a lower-body injury shortly after scoring his fifth goal of the season on Wednesday and will miss at least a few weeks. With Lazar coming out of the lineup on Thursday, Rasmus Asplund will draw back into the lineup.

Kapanen did not return for the third period of Wednesday's game, so his status for the second half of the back-to-back on Thursday is uncertain. Expect an update around 5 PM ET.

Frederic was banged up in the Bruins' last game on March 18th but was on the ice for Wednesday's practice and will be a game-time decision on Thursday. Frederic, who has four goals and one assist in 28 games this season, is expected to play in the bottom-6 but should see some PP2 usage with Jake DeBrusk still out.

Bouchard was scratched Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs but is expected to replace Kris Russell in the lineup on Monday. Bouchard, who has one goal and three assists in 11 games this season, will skate on the third pairing with Ethan Bear.
