Kulikov has one assist in eight games since returning from a back injury, but will come out of the lineup tonight because of the same injury. Kulikov is listed as day-to-day and will be replaced by Cody Franson.
Barkov played 9:05 TOI before retiring to the dressing room in the Panthers’ shootout loss to the Maple Leafs. Gudas will be scratched from Saturday’s game vs. the Blackhawks because of an illness. Brandon Manning is expected to return from an injury to replace Gudas, who should be considered day-to-day.

Jones missed the last six games with hairline fracture in his foot, but is expected to return to the lineup tonight vs. Colorado. Jones has collected three goals and three assists in 10 games this season and is expected to return to his spot alongside Zach Werenski tonight.

Despite a winning record on home-ice this season (4-2-0), Markstrom is giving up nearly 3.00 goals per game at Rogers Arena and is a risky start vs. Chicago.
Eller played just one shift in Friday’s shutout win over the Red Wings. He left with what the Capitals are now describing as an upper-body injury. There’s no word on how Eller got hurt, but it sounds like it will keep him sidelined for at least a few weeks.
Petrovic was hurt in the Panthers’ win in Montreal on Tuesday. He missed Thursday’s game in Toronto and was moved to IR on Friday so the Panthers’ could recall Jakub Kindl to join them on their road-trip.
