Barkov is expected to meet with a specialist on Monday, who will determine if the Panthers’ centre will need surgery on his broken hand. There is no timetable for his return until they determine whether or not he needs surgery—Barkov could miss between two weeks and two months.
Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Wild on Thursday. Bobrovsky has lost each of his first six starts of the season, while posting a 4.72 GAA and .840 SV%. On Saturday he will face an Avalanche team that ranks in the middle of the pack with 2.67 goals per game this season.

Marchand missed two games with a concussion but he will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Coyotes. He has no points and seven shots on goal in two games. With Marchand back, Brett Connolly will be scratched.

It looked as if Brian Gionta was going to return to the lineup on Monday which would have forced Reinhart out, but GIonta will sit for the third consecutive game, which means Reinhart should stay in the lineup.

Marchand suffered the concussion on an inadvertent elbow from Dale Weise on Saturday night. Bruins’ coach Claude Julien confirmed that Marchand is out with a concussion and there is no timetable for his return.

Bobrovsky has posted strong numbers in his tim with Columbus, but he has yet to stay healthy enough to start 60-plus games. If he can do that in 2015-16, he could turn into a top-5 fantasy netminder. Tonight he starts his season vs. the Rangers—he was 1-1-1 with a 2.62 GAA and .915 SV% in three games vs. New York last year.
