Barkov left Wednesday’s game with an undisclosed injury and did not return.

Barkov played 9:05 TOI before retiring to the dressing room in the Panthers’ shootout loss to the Maple Leafs. Panthers’ head coach Tom Rowe did not have an update on Barkov postgame, but he is considered questionable for Thursday’s game vs. the Canadiens. If he doesn’t play, expect Vincent Trocheck to play a significant role.

Aleksander Barkov
Markstrom will start Friday vs. the Flames.

Markstrom stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Canucks’s win over the Jets on Tuesday. Ryan Miller started and lost on Thursday, so Markstrom will be back in tonight in Calgary. Eller (upper-body) is questionable for Wednesday vs. St. Louis.

Eller missed Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Friday and he remains questionable for Wednesday’s game. Eller has just two goals in 17 games this season, so he shouldn’t be considered a valid fantasy option anyways.

Lars Eller
The Blue Jackets have activated Seth Jones (foot) from IR; expected to return on Monday.

Jones missed the last six games with hairline fracture in his foot, but is expected to return to the lineup tonight vs. Colorado. Jones has collected three goals and three assists in 10 games this season and is expected to return to his spot alongside Zach Werenski tonight.

Despite a winning record on home-ice this season (4-2-0), Markstrom is giving up nearly 3.00 goals per game at Rogers Arena and is a risky start vs. Chicago.

Jacob Markstrom
Eller is week-to-week with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Friday.

Eller played just one shift in Friday’s shutout win over the Red Wings. He left with what the Capitals are now describing as an upper-body injury. There’s no word on how Eller got hurt, but it sounds like it will keep him sidelined for at least a few weeks.

Lars Eller
Markstrom will start Thursday vs. the Coyotes.

Markstrom allowed seven(!!!) goals on 25 shots in the Canucks’ loss to the Rangers on Tuesday. Despite a dreadful performance, Markstrom will start again on Thursday because Ryan Miller is sick. Markstrom should have an easier night against a Coyotes team that has lost four of five and played last night.
