The Flames will burn the first year of Bennett’s contract when he plays in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Bennett will suit up in his 10th game of the season, which will burn the first year of his entry level contract. The Flames will not hesitate to burn that year, because Bennett gives them a chance to win. The 18-year-old has three goals and one assist in eight playoff games.

After missing the start of the season because of shoulder surgery, Bennett, 18, went back to the OHL where he tallied 11 goals and 13 assists (24 points) in 11 games with Kingston. He is expected to make his debut on a line with David Wolf and Drew Shore.

After having his eight-game winning streak snapped on Monday, Bob got back to his winning ways right away. Over the last month, Bobrovsky has won 11 of 13 while posting a 2.33 GAA and .932 SV%.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 42 shots in the Blue Jackets overtime loss to the Rangers on Monday. The loss snapped an eight-game winning streak for Bob, who still played extremely well.
