Bobrovsky is expected to start Monday vs. the Rangers.

Bobrovksky allowed one goal on 36 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Bobrovsky has won two of his last three starts while stopping 80 of 86 shots (.930 SV%). Bobrovsky has gone 18-6-0 at Nationwide Arena and tonight he’ll face the Rangers for the second time this season—he stopped 25 of 27 shots in a 4-2 win in the first meeting.

Berube starts Sunday vs. the Avalanche.

Berube allowed five goals on 25 shots in the Islanders’ loss to the Hurricanes on February 4th. Berube has gone 1-2-2 with a 3.27 GAA and .896 SV% in four starts and three relief appearances this season. Tonight he makes for an interesting spot-start against an Avalanche that has lost 11 of their last 13.

Bobrovsky will start Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Blue Jackets’ shutout loss to the Canucks on Thursday. Despite the loss, Bobrovsky will be back in net tonight vs. the Red Wings. Goalie Bob just faced Detroit on Tuesday and stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 3-2 OT win.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ overtime win over the Red Wings on Tuesday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Bobrovsky, who is now tied with Devan Dubnyk for the NHL lead in wins (29). In his first start vs. the Canucks, ‘Goalie Bob’ stopped 14 of 17 shots in a 4-3 OT win.

The Blue Jackets will not hold a morning skate on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have been skipping their morning skates for the majority of the year, so it’s not surprising to see them doing so today. It was easier to just pencil Bobrovksy in earlier in the year, but he’s now lost four in a row while allowing four goals in each start with an .864 SV%.

Berube will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Berube allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Islanders’ win over the Kings on January 21st. He has watched Thomas Greiss a lot, but is expected to start tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Berube comes in with a 1-2-1 record, 2.82 GAA and .916 SV% in three starts and three relief appearances this season.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Pittsburgh last night. Bobrovsky has lost three in a row while allowing four goals in each start and posting an .865 SV%. Bobrovsky has struggled recently, but has been great on home ice, going 17-4-0 so far and has a great matchup vs. the Devils.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Nashville before the All-Star break. Bobrovsky has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined eight goals on 56 shots (.857 SV%). He was victorious in his first start vs. the Penguins and comes into Pittsburgh at 11-5-2 with a 2.45 GAA and .914 SV% on the road this season.

Barkov (upper-body) will return to the Panthers lineup on Friday.

Barkov has been sidelined since December 28th, but will return to the Panthers’ top line tonight. In addition to Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau will make his season debut which is huge for Barkov. They played together a ton last season and should be reunited tonight. Before getting hurt, Barkov had nine goals and 18 assists (27 points) in 36 games.

Bobrovsky will start Thursday in Nashville.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Brooklyn on Tuesday. The loss moved Bobrovsky to 4-3-0 with a 2.46 GAA and .914 SV%in seven starts this month. Bobrovsky’s play has fallen off a bit, but he remains 11-4-2 with a 2.34 GAA and .917 SV% on the road this season and a strong option whenever he gets the nod.

Barkov (upper-body) is at least two weeks away from returning.

There were rumblings that Barkov could miss the rest of the 2016-17 season, but it seems like if he can avoid surgery he will return at some point this season. Barkov was having a great year, scoring nine goals with 18 assists (27 points) in 36 games and it appears as if he is still at least two weeks away from returning to the lineup.

Joonas Korpisalo started on Sunday, so Bobrovsky will get back between the pipes tonight against the Islanders. Bob is 4-2-0 with a 2.09 GAA and .925 SV% in January and was victorious in his first start against the Islanders.

Kulikov (back) returned to practice on Monday.

Kulikov has been out since December 27th, but returned to practice on Monday, which suggests that he could be back by the time the Sabres’ return from the All-Star break. Expect him to miss Tuesday and Thursday’s game before the break, but monitor his status as the week progresses just to be sure.
