Boborvsky will start Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss to the Senators on Thursday. Bobrovsky has stopped 50 of 53 shots (.943 SV%) since returning from a three-game absence due to an illness. One of those games was against the Hurricanes, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 4-1 win vs. Carolina on Tuesday.

Bennett will be back in the Flames lineup on Saturday.

Bennett was a healthy scratch on Thursday, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Oilers. Bennett has been held off of the scoresheet for 10 games straight games and comes into tonight’s game with just 18 points (9G / 9A) in 47 games this season.

Berube will start Saturday vs. the Kings.

Berube stopped both shots that he faced after replacing Thomas Greiss in the Islanders loss in Carolina last Saturday. Berube will make his third start of the season and comes into the night with an 0-2-1 record, 3.14 GAA and .904 SV% in five total appearances. Tonight he’ll face his former team, who are 8-11-3 on the road this season.

Bobrovsky made 24 saves on 25 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday. It was a nice return to the crease for Bobrovsky, who has won 16 of his last 17 starts entering play on Thursday. Bobrovsky will face a Senators team that has won three of their last four—Bob is 16-3-0 with a 1.79 GAA and .940 SV% on home ice.

It was a nice return to the crease for Bobrovsky, who has won 16 of his last 17 starts entering play on Thursday. Bennett has not recorded a single point in 10 games and has just two goals in his last 16 games. The second-year forward has struggled to improve on last year’s pace and will come out of the lineup as a healthy scratch tonight. Michael Ferland (lower-body) will take his spot up-front.

Bobrovsky missed the last three games with an illness, but will start tonight vs. the Hurricanes. In his last start, Bob stopped 25 of 26 shots in a win over the Flyers. The 28-year-old has gone 15-3-0 with a 1.84 GAA and .939 SV% in 18 starts at Nationwide Arena this season—he’ll face a Hurricanes team that ranks 11th in the NHL in scoring (2.77 GF/PG).

On Monday the Blue Jackets waived Curtis McElhinney and called up Anton Forsberg, who will make his season debut tonight. Bobrovsky is considered day-to-day and should be ready to start on of the Blue Jackets games in Florida on Friday and Saturday.

The Oilers have sent Jesse Puljujarvi to Bakersfield (AHL).

Puljujarvi has been in and out of the Oilers’ lineup recently and has compiled just eight points (1G / 7A) in 28 games this season. The rookie will head to Bakersfield to tinker with his game, but don’t be surprised if you see him back in an Oilers uniform later this season.

Bobrovsky stopped 29 of31 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in Minnesota on New Year’s Eve. Bobrovsky has now won 13 in a row and was a perfect 12-0-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .939 SV% in December. Bob has been incredible the season and needs to be given a lot of the credit in Columbus. Tonight he faces the Oilers for the second time this season—he stopped 33 of 34 shots in a 3-1 win in a win in mid-December.
