Jones had missed the previous five games with a concussion he suffered on March 23rd in Chicago. The Predators season is coming to a close, which means the end of Jones' rookie season. Jones was cleared to return to game action on Tuesday, but he is not taking part in line rushes this morning. Usually if a player is returning he will skate along side his D partner in practice--Jones is not which suggests he will miss his fifth consecutive game.
The Panthers season is all but over so there is no reason to get Barkov back in the lineup. They are expected to rest him for the remainder of the year and get him going for 2014-15 after great rookie campaign.

Bobrovsky departed Tuesday's game after the first period but did not skate this morning and will sit tonight while Curtis McElhinney gets the start. Bob skated after his teammates, so consider him day-to-day.
Bobrovsky had reportedly been dealing with flu-like symptoms throughout the day, but the Jackets elected to start him anyways. He stopped nine of 10 shots in the first period before retiring to the dressing room. His backup, Curtis McElhinney came in and made 22 saves while recording the win. Expect Bob to be back on Friday.

With the Red Wings in town, Bob obviously gets the start in a game with massive playoff implications. Bobrovsky is 1-1-0 with a 1.51 GAA and .958 SV% vs. Detroit this season. He has gone 7-4-1 in March.
