Ritchie (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Friday.

Ritchie missed the Coyotes' previous game due to an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision Friday vs. Colorado. The 29-year-old has eight goals, four assists, 59 SOG, 23 PIMs and a +3 plus/minus through 41 games with both Arizona and Calgary this season.

The Blues have signed Michael Buchinger to a three-year entry-level contract.

Buchinger has 15 goals, 60 points, 56 PIMs and is a -7 plus/minus through 56 games with the Guelph Storm (OHL) and has signed a three-year entry-level contract with St. Louis. The 18-year-old was St. Louis' 2022 third-round pick (88th overall).

Brett Ritchie has resolved his visa issues and is expected to make his Coyotes' debut Thursday.

Ritchie had six goals, two assists, 46 SOG, 23 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 34 games with Calgary and will make his Arizona debut Thursday after dealing with some visa issues. This is the 29-year-olds fourth team in his career.

Thomas Greiss will start Thursday vs. San Jose.

Greiss allowed seven goals on 34 shots (.794 SV%) for his third-straight loss as he was defeated by the Ottawa Senators in his last start. The 37-year-old Blues' backup has struggled alongside his counterpart Jordan Binnington this season, shown by his 5-8-0 record, 3.54 GAA and .901 SV%. The veteran takes on the San Jose Sharks, who have lost six of their last seven games and are 23rd in the NHL in both goals per game (2.93) and shots (30.0).

The Coyotes have acquired Jakub Voracek and a 2023 6th Round Pick from the Blue Jackets for Jon Gillies.

Voracek had a goal, five assists, 17 SOG, a -7 plus/minus through 11 games this season and a $8.25 million cap hit that runs through 2023-24 which had gotten him traded to the Arizona Coyotes alongside a 2023 6th Round Pick from the Blue Jackets for Jon Gillies. Voracek has not played since Nov. 4th due to a concussion.

Halak will start Thursday vs. the Senators.

Halak allowed four goals on 23 shots (.826 SV%) as he took his second straight loss with a defeat to Detroit in his previous start. The 37-year-old Rangers' backup has been fairly mediocre when called upon this season, with his 8-7-2 record, 2.72 GAA AND .902 SV%. He will face the Ottawa Senators, who are in the midst of a three-game winning streak and are eighth in the NHL in shots per game (33.2).

Scott Harrington will make his Ducks' debut Wednesday vs. Washington.

Harrington was traded from San Jose as part of the Timo Meier blockbuster move and waived and claimed Tuesday and is expected to make his Ducks' debut Wednesday. The 29-year-old defenseman has a goal, six assists, 22 SOG and a -7 plus/minus through 28 games with the San Jose Sharks this season.

The Ducks have claimed Scott Harrington off waivers from the Devils.

Harrington was traded from San Jose as part of the Timo Meier blockbuster move and was subsequently waived the same day only to be claimed by the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday. The 29-year-old defenseman has a goal, six assists, 22 SOG and a -7 plus/minus through 28 games with the San Jose Sharks this season.

The Devils have acquired Scott Harrington, Timo Meier, Santeri Hatakka, Zachary Emond, Timur Ibragimov, and a 2024 5th Round Pick from the Sharks for Shakir Mukhamadullin, Fabian Zetterlund, Nikita Okhotyuk, Andreas Johnsson, a Conditional 2023 1st Round Pick, a Conditional 2024 2nd Round Pick and a 2024 7th Round Pick.

Harrington signed a deal with the Sharks in September and tallied seven points (1G / 6A) in 28 games this season. Harrington provides the Devils' with some organizational depth on the blueline after sending Mukhamadullin and Okhotyuk the other way.

Halak allowed three goals on 32 shots (.906 SV%) to snap a seven-game winning streak with an overtime loss vs. Calgary. The 37-year-old Rangers' backup has been very solid since the turning of the new year, which has led to an 8-6-2 record, 2.64 GAA and .907 SV%. He will face the surging Detroit Red Wings, who have won six of their last seven games after a 3-1 win over Washington last outing.
