Jonathan Toews has been placed on the injured reserve retroactive to Feb. 7th (illness).

Toews last played on January 28th due to a non-covid related illness and has been placed on the injured reserve retroactive to February 7th. The 34-year-old has 14 goals, 28 points and a -24 plus/minus through 46 games this season.

Toews has 14 goals, 14 assists, 79 SOG, 37 PIMs and a -24 plus/minus through 46 games this season but will miss the Blackhawks game Tuesday vs. Anaheim due to an illness. Toews will hope to be back in the lineup soon as he is a key trade chip for Chicago as we head closer to the trade deadline.

The Blues backup has been the better of their two netminders, with his 5-6-0 record, 3.15 GAA and .912 SV%. He will face the Arizona Coyotes, who have lost three of their last four games and rank last in the NHL in shots per game (25.5).
