Kopitar was expected to miss 2-4 weeks when he first strained his knee.... Forget that! He only missed the Kings season opener. This is fantastic news for people who took Kopitar because you probably got him later than you should have because of the injury. Kopitar is a must-start in all formats.

Edler had his best season of his career last year. He is poised to continue his strong play this season. It wouldn't be outlandish to expect 30 points out of Edler in this season.

The Carolina Hurricanes could have signed one of the best defensive prospects in the history of the franchise today with the signing of Boston College defenseman Brian Dumoulin.
Dumoulin, a second round pick in 2009, just completed his junior year at Boston College, scoring seven goals and 28 points en route to a National Championship.
Mats Zuccarello just had stitches out, still in a cast. No timetable for return but hopes to play again if Rangers have long playoff run.
Zuccarello remains out indefinitely but could return in late May/June. He scored two goals and an assist in 10 games this season.
As noted in the Live Blog, the Rangers announced during the game that left wing Mats Zuccarello is out indefinitely after fracturing his left wrist blocking a first-period shot by defenseman Jordan Leopold.
