Perry has reportedly agreed to sign with the Edmonton Oilers.

Perry hasn't played in the NHL since his contract was terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks in late November. In a statement released by the Blackhawks, the team stated Perry engaged in "unacceptable conduct" that violated his contract and team standards. Prior to having his contract terminated, Perry was amid a somewhat resurgent start to the season, scoring nine points (4G / 5A) in 16 games. It is speculated Perry could be ready to play for the Oilers as early as later this week.

Kuemper will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

After allowing three or more goals in six straight games (2-4-0), Kuemper served as the backup to Charlie Lindgren on a back-to-back set over the weekend but will return to the crease on Tuesday in a favourable matchup against the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks pulled off an improbable 5-4 overtime victory over the Florida Panthers last night, but, playing on back-to-back nights, the Capitals are sizeable -171 home favourites.

Forsberg will return to the crease for the Senators on Thursday as they attempt to snap their four-game losing skid. The Senators are +116 road underdogs against a Buffalo Sabres team defeated 5-2 by the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday.
