Johansson suffered a lower-body injury in the Kraken's season opener and was placed on IR on Wednesday. Johansson had no points and one shot in 16:13 TOI. Kole Lind was recalled from Charlotte (AHL) to take Johansson's spot on the roster.

Johansson was placed in COVID-19 protocol on Monday but has been cleared to play in the first game in franchise history. It is difficult to project who Johansson will skate with, but with Calle Jarnkrok, Joonas Donskoi and Jared McCann all out, you have to assume he will play a prominent role.

Boldy is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks with a fractured left ankle.
Boldy suffered a fractured ankle in Thursday's preseason game vs. the Blackhawks. The injury will keep him sidelined until early-to-mid November and will likely force him to start the season in the AHL to get back up to speed.

Boldy appeared to be on track to make the Wild out of training camp but now it looks like he could miss some time to start the season. The injury could open the door for fellow prospect Marco Rossi to make the team, but it's more likely that recent waiver pickup Rem Pitlick claims that spot.
