The 23-year-old netminder allowed four goals on 40 shots as the Avalanche walked away with a 7-4 victory. Lucchini was reassigned to Iowa (AHL) in correspondence to the impending All-Star break last week but will return to Minnesota. Lucchini has played four straight games for Minnesota and has been held without a point in eight contests this season.

Ylonen will take a seat on Thursday as Lucas Condotta enters the lineup. Ylonen has three goals and four assists in 38 games this season.

Smith's 16 points (5G / 11A) in 46 games have been rewarded with a two-year, $2 million contract extension. The 28-year-old winger has most recently been playing on a line with Michael McCarron and Philip Tomasino.

Blankenburg has been out since December 19th but will return to the ice in the AHL. In a corresponding move, the Blue Jackets recalled David Jiriceck from Cleveland.
