Juuse Saros will start Tuesday vs. Pittsburgh.

Saros stopped 25 of 27 shots (.926 SV%) for his third-straight victory as he beat Arizona 6-2 in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been solid all year, with his 23-16-5 record, 2.80 GAA and .916 SV%. He will face the Pittsburgh Penguins, who have won their last two games and are fifth in the NHL in shots (33.7).

The Predators have acquired Isaac Ratcliffe from Flyers for future considerations.

Ratcliffe was a second-round pick in 2017 but has yet to make an impact at the NHL level. The 6-foot-6, 200 lbs winger has appeared in just 10 NHL games in five years, spending all of 2023 in the AHL so far. In 26 games with Lehigh Valley, Ratcliffe has just four points (2G / 2A). He'll likely report to Milwaukee (AHL).

The Blackhawks have acquired Andreas Englund from the Avalanche for Jack Johnson.

With all of the injuries in Colorado this season, Englund settled in as their No.6 defenseman, posting three assists in 36 games. Despite putting together a solid campaign the Avalanche elected to bring back Johnson, who won a Stanley Cup with them last season. Englund should have a chance to earn more playing time in Colorado.

Justus Annunen has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Annunen played great in his only start of the season with the Avalanche, stopping 19 of 20 shots (.950 SV%) for his first win of the season against St. Louis. With Colorado not playing until Friday, he has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) for the time being.

The 27-year-old has been solid all season, as shown by his 20-16-5 record, 2.82 GAA and .916 SV%. He takes on the Vancouver Canucks, who broke a three-game losing streak with a 6-2 win over Philadelphia last game.
