Jakub Vrana has entered the follow-up care phase of the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program and can return to play (personal).

Vrana has not played since Oct. 15th due to personal reasons and has been cleared to return to the Detroit Red Wings in full capacity Friday. The 26-year-old had a goal, two points and five SOG in his short two-game stint prior to stepping away from the team.

Saros will start Thursday in Nashville.

Saros allowed one goal on 24 shots (.958 SV%) as he took the hard-luck overtime loss in a 1-0 defeat to St.Louis in his previous game. The 27-year-old has not been his usual dominant self this season, as shown by his 9-8-3 record, .908 SV% and 2.93 GAA. He draws the Winnipeg Jets, who will be looking to re-enter the win column after dropping their last two contests allowing a combined 11 goals against.

Saros will start Thursday in New Jersey.

Saros stopped 34 of 35 shots (.971 SV%) to pick up his fifth win in six starts as he beat Anaheim in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been much better as of late and holds an 8-6-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV%. He takes on the red-hot New Jersey Devils who are on a three-game winning streak and have won 16 of their last 17 games played.

Saros will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

Saros allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) as he collected his third win in four starts with a victory over Arizona his previous time out. His up-and-down season has had a lot more ups as of late as he has improved his record to 7-6-2 with a .905 SV% and 3.06 GAA. He takes on the struggling Anaheim Ducks who have lost five of their last six games prior to Tuesday.

Wade Allison will be out for 2-3 weeks with a hip pointer/oblique muscle strain.

Allison last played on November 12th when he was forced to leave Philadelphia's game due to a hip/pointer and oblique muscle stain. It was announced Tuesday that the third-year winger would be out for 2-3 weeks due to both injuries as the Flyers' injuries continue to pile up. In 14 games this season, he had three goals and four points with a +4 plus/minus.

Saros will start Monday vs. the Coyotes.

Saros stopped 36 of 39 shots (.923 SV%) as he snapped a three-game winning streak with an overtime loss to Tampa Bay his last time out. The Swiss netminder has not played like his usual dominant self this season, shown by his .906 SV%, 3.09 GAA and 6-6-2 record. He draws a very promising matchup against the Arizona Coyotes who rank last in the NHL in shots per game (24.1) and third last in goals for (2.56).
