Tatar played well for the Red Wings posting four goals, three assists with a plus-4 in 18 games this season.

Allen has won each of his last two starts while allowing three goals in both contests. He will get the nod tonight against a Sharks team who have lost three in a row.

Markstrom appears to be the clear #1 goalie in Florida with Jose Theodore out with an injury. Markstrom is 1-3-0 with a 3.52 GAA and .889 SV% since Theodore got hurt. He has a solid matchup against the Lightning who have lost seven of their last eight.

Markstrom has lost each of his lsat two starts making him 1-2-0 with a 2.82 GAA and .902 SV% in his last three starts. He will be between the pipes against the Eastern Conference leading Montreal Canadiens tonight, not a great matchup.

Markstrom has lost each of his lsat two starts making him 1-2-0 with a 2.82 GAA and .902 SV% in his last three starts. He will likely be between the pipes against the Eastern Conference leading Montreal Canadiens tonight, not a great matchup.

Markstrom gave up two goals on the first two shots that he faced yesterday vs. Washington. He was pulled for Scott Clemmensen who didn't fair any better allowing five goals on 24 shots. Markstrom will start tonight vs. the Jets hoping for a better outcome than last night.

Allen allowed three goals on 26 shots but it was enough as the Blues poured in six goals on Mike Smith. With the win Allen is now 4-1-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .893 SV% this season. He has a decent matchup vs. an inconsistent Sharks team.

Markstrom will make his second consecutive start since Jose Theodore got hurt. He played very well in his last outing, allowing one goal on 31 shots vs. Winnipeg. He has a tougher test tonight against a Washington team that has won seven on their last 10 games.

The Blues’ save percentage, No. 1 in the NHL last season at .929, has fallen to No. 30 (.870) this year. With the recent goalie struggles the Blues have turned to rookie Jake Allen to get them back on track. Allen started four games while Halak was hurt and Elliott was struggling going 3-1-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .895 SV%. He has a solid matchup vs. the Coyotes tonight.

Blues GM Doug Armstrong did not confirm that Allen would start Thursday when the Blues travel to play Phoenix, saying, “Ken (Hitchcock) makes the lineup card, but I wanted to give him that opportunity. I just felt that when (Tuesday’s) game ended, we needed to look back on when we were having our most success, and what were some of the components, and Jake was one of those components. We think Jake has proven to be able to play at a high level over a short period of time.”

Markstrom will get the nod tonight for the Panthers and if he plays well will likely become the Panthers #1 with Jose Theodore out. He has a good chance to play well because the Jets aren't a great team but that being said, they have played well as of late. If Markstrom is available in your league he could make for a good start and could be worth keeping on your roster.

After Clemmensen was rocked coming in for Theo last night, Markstrom gets another shot at the big club. If Markstrom plays well, he should be picked up in deeper formats as the Panthers play 4 games next week and he could start at least 2.

Markstrom lost both of his starts and allowed 3 goals in both contests and posted a .915 SV%. The Panthers have two veteran netminders with Jose Theodore and Scott Clemmensen so that is likely why Markstrom is going back to the AHL. However it doesn't sound as if Markstrom will be in the AHL for long.

Markstrom made 37 saves on 40 shots against the Penguins in his only other start this season.

Markstrom will make his first NHL start of the season. He is a great goalie prospect and with the Panthers struggling they are going to give the young kid a shot. I would assume Markstrom is up for good unless he plays terribly. However it can't get much worse than it already is. I would avoid starting him vs. Pittsburgh though.

Allen played very well in his 4 starts while Halak was out with an injury. He went 3-1-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .895 SV%. He will return to the AHL where he was 12-16-2 with a 2.94 GAA and .903 SV% before his call-up.

With both of the Panthers goalies struggling this season they have recalled Markstrom who is one of the NHL's best goalie prospects. Markstrom was 49-47-4 with a 2.65 GAA and .918 SV% in his 100 career AHL starts. He is also 2-5-1 in eight starts in the NHL. He could start tomorrow for the Panthers when they take on Philadelphia. Playing for Florida will limit his fantasy value but if he can stay up with the Panthers he could be a good pickup for people in Keeper leagues.

Allen has won 3 straight and will get another start tonight after his recent success. With Jaroslav Halak just getting back from injury and Brian Elliott struggling this season the Blues will continue to ride the young goalies hot streak. Allen's 2.77 GAA and .888 SV% aren't great but to St. Louis the three straight wins is all that matters.

With Halak's return still up in the air, Allen will look to continue his superb play on the road against a tough Canucks team.

With Halak out with an injury and Elliott on a major slump Allen will get his second straight start tonight vs. the Flames. Allen didn't see a lot of shots in his first start, stopping 15 of 18 shots he faced against Detroit and recording the OT win. He has a pretty good match-up tonight against Calgary and could be worth a spot start; if you trust the young netminder.
