Clutterbuck returned to the lineup on Tuesday, but is out once again with a lower-body injury. It’s unclear whether he re-aggravated the same injury or suffered a new injury, but he’ll be replaced by Stephen Gionta either way.

Cizikas suffered an upper-body injury in Detroit on Tuesday and is expected to miss one month. With him out for four weeks, Cizikas’ move to IR was simply a formality to open a roster spot.

Drouin has been battling the flu for a few weeks, but hasn’t missed any games. He was absent for Wednesday’s practice and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game. It’s unclear whether it is the illness or something else that is bothering Drouin, but monitor his status during warmups at 7:00p.m. ET.

Schneider allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Devils’ 2-0 loss to the Senators on Thursday. Schneider has gone 3-2-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .933 SV% in six February starts and tonight he’ll make his firsts start of the season vs. the Islanders. Schneider comes into the game at 12-7-3 with a 2.40 GAA and .919 SV% on home ice this season.

Pelech has not recorded a point in five games and has just six points (1G / 5A) in 26 games with the Islanders. Pelech will be replaced by Scott Mayfield tonight.

Mayfield has been a healthy scratch for the last seven games, but will replace Adam Pelech in the lineup tonight. Mayfield hasn’t played a lot this season, but has produced when he draws into the lineup. The 24-year-old has averaged 12:38 TOI in eight games this season and has one goal and three assists on nine shots.

Schneider allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Devils’ win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Schneider has won three of his last four starts while posting a strong 1.76 GAA and .943 SV%. The 30-year-old has not faced the Senators this season, but has gone 12-6-3 with a 2.42 GAA and .917 SV% at the Prudential Center this season.


Schneider allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Devils’ loss to the Sharks on Sunday. Schneider was under siege from puck-drop and stood tall as long as he could against a talented Sharks team. Through the first four starts of February, Schneider is 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .931 SV% and is a must-start tonight.

Schneider allowed one goal on 23 shots in the Devils’ win over the Sabres on Monday. The Devils had the last five days off, so Schneider comes into Sunday well rested and he’s won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.24 GAA and .927 SV%. The 30-year-old is also 11-5-3 on home ice this season.

Soshnikov was a late scratch for Thursday’s game vs. the Blues and despite skating on Friday, he remains a question mark for Saturday’s contest. This shouldn’t be a huge concern to fantasy players, as the young winger has tallied just four goals and three assists (seven points) in 42 games this season.

Schneider allowed one goals on 32 shots in the Devils’ win in Columbus on Saturday. It was a great outing for Schneider, who struggled in this four previous appearances. In his first start against the Sabres, Schneider allowed two goals on 23 shots in a 4-2 win.

Schneider allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Devils’ loss to the Flames last night. Despite the loss. Schneider has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.53 GAA and .898 SV% in his last four appearances and tonight he’ll make his 39th start of the 2016-17 season. He has gone 5-10-5 with a 2.98 GAA and .905 SV% on the road this season.
