Schneider will start Friday vs. the Flyers.

Schneider allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Devils loss to the Avalanche on Tuesday. Keith Kinkaid started last night in Carolina last night, but Schneider will go tonight vs. the Flyers. Schneider has lost three of his last four starts while posting a 1.96 GAA and .927 SV%. Schneider continues to play well, but the Devils only scored seven goals in front of him over that span. In his first start against Philly, he stopped 27 of 28 shots in a 4-1 win. However, the Flyers come in winners of three in a row.

Varlamov will start Thursday in New York,

Varlamov allowed four goals on 27 shots in Colorado’s loss in Brooklyn on Monday. Since returning from his injury, Varlamov has gone 2-2-0 with a 3.33 GAA and .879 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Rangers team that has struggled recently—New York is 1-3-1 in their last five games, averaging just 1.80 goals per game over that span.

Schneider allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Devils’ win in Montreal on Saturday. The win snapped a brief two-game losing streak for Schneider, who finished November with a 5-4-1 record, 1.90 GAA, .935 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces a Colorado team who has lost five of seven despite averaging 3.14 goals per game.

Varlamov will be in goal on Monday vs. the Islanders.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 28 shots in Colorado’s win over Winnipeg on Saturday. Since returning from injury, Varlamov is 2-1-0 with a 2.96 GAA and .891 SV%. It hasn’t exactly been pretty for Varly, but the wins are all that matter to Patrick Roy. Varlamov will start in Brooklyn tonight, he is 2-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .927 SV% on the road this season.

Schneider gave up two goals on 27 shots in the Devils loss to the Canadiens last night. Despite the loss, Schneider will go again tonight, this time in Montreal. Schneider has allowed two goals in three consecutive games, winning one of them. He comes in with a 1.89 GAA and .935 SV% in nine starts this month.

Varlamov was pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots in the Avs’ loss to the Senators on Wednesday. Despite the rough outing, the Avalanche will stick with Varlamov tonight vs. the Jets. In his first game back from injury, he stopped 20 of 21 in a win in Winnipeg, so the matchup shouldn’t scare you.

Varlamov made 20 saves on 21 shots in a win his return to the crease on Monday. Varlamov was struggling mightily before he got hurt and maybe some time off was just what he needed. Obviously one start doesn’t mean he is back and he will face a much stiffer test tonight with the Senators in town. Ottawa has won three in a row and have outscored their opponents 14-4 over that span.

Schneider will start Wednesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Schneider allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Devils win in Vancouver on Sunday. If Schneider wasn’t already considered one of the best goalies in the NHL before this season, he is now. With a mediocre team in front of him, Schneider has gone 10-5-1 with a 2.05 GAA and .928 SV% in 16 starts this season. He is as dependable of a fantasy netminder as you will find, but will be in tough tonight vs. a surging Blue Jackets team.

Varlamov (groin) will return to the Avs' crease on Monday.

Varlamov has been out since November 10th with a groin injury, but will return to the crease tonight. After posting a 3.26 GAA and .890 SV% in his first 10 games, he had fallen behind Reto Berra, but Berra has struggled in his last three games, so Varlamov could reclaim his job as the Avs’ No. 1 goalie with a couple of strong outings.

Schneider allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Devils loss in Calgary on Tuesday. Keith Kinkaid started on Friday but Schneider will be back in goal on Sunday vs. his former team. Schneider is 1-1-2 with a 2.21 GAA and .920 SV% in his first four starts vs. the Canucks.

Schneider stopped all 21 shots that he faced in the Devils’ shutout win over the Penguins on Saturday. Schneider has been insane over the last 30 days, winning nine of 12 while posting a 1.98 GAA and .926 SV%. Schneider is one of the NHL’s hottest net minders and is a must-start vs. the Flames, who have lost three of four.

Schneider allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Devils win in Chicago on Thursday. Schneider has been great this season and his team has done enough in front of him to have the 29-year-old netminder sitting at 8-4-1 with a 2.13 GAA and .924 SV% on the season. Tonight he will take on the 10-6-0 Penguins at home—Schneider is 3-3-1 on Prudential Center ice this season.
