Palat was listed as a game-time decision due to an illness, but he is on the ice in warmups and skating on his regular line which suggests that he will play.

Tonight he faces the Canucks for the second time this month. Varly allowed three goals on 28 shots in a 3-1 loss to Vancouver back on February 9th.

Palat missed the morning skate with an illness and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s contest vs. the Jets. If Palat can’t play, expect the Lightning to go with seven defensemen.

It has been a roller coaster of a season for Varlamov, who has struggled against the Eastern Conference this season, going 5-6-1 with a 3.12 GAA and .895 SV% so far.
