Schneider will start in goal on Friday.

Schneider allowed one goal on 25 shots in the Canucks shootout win over the Sabres on Tuesday. The win snapped a three-game losing skid and moved him to 3-3-0 with a 1.66 GAA and .943 SV% in February. Tonight will be his fourth career start vs. his former team—he has gone 0-1-2 with a 2.28 GAA and .921 SV% in the first three meetings.

Varlamov stopped four of five shots through two periods in Tuesday’s 5-2 win over the Coyotes. He was pulled in favour of Reto Berra for the third period after he didn’t face a single shot in the second period. It was a much needed break for Varlamov, who will be back in goal vs. the visiting Kings. Since the All Star break, Varly has gone 3-2-0 with a 1.75 GAA and .927 SV% at home.

Varlamov made 24 saves on 25 shots in Colorado’s 4-1 win over the Stars on Saturday. After losing four straight, Varlamov turned in a great performance over the weekend and will start against the Coyotes tonight. He has not faced Arizona yet this season, but has gone 10-6-1 with a 2.16 GAA and .931 SV% at the Pepsi Center.

Schneider starts Tuesday vs. Buffalo.

Schneider allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Devils 3-1 loss to the Predators on Saturday. It was the first time in nine games that he allowed more than two goals, but it is hard to fault him when he faces 41 shots. He has been great in the last month and a half and is a must-start vs. the Sabres.

Schneider allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Devils 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks last night. Schneider extended his run of allowing less than three goals to seven games. Tonight will be his sixth start on no rest—in the first five he has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.57 GAA And .914 SV%. Be wary of his matchup on a back-to-back.

Varlamov allowed five goals on 30 shots in the Avs’ loss to the Rangers on Thursday. Despite losing four in a row and allowing 10 goals in his last two starts, the Avalanche will go with Varly again today vs. Dallas. He is 2-0-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .931 SV% vs. the Stars this season and they will likely be without Tyler Seguin tonight.

Schneider made 22 saves on 24 shots in the Devils 2-1 loss to the Oilers on Monday. Despite the loss, Schneider continues his superb play—he has gone 7–2-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .942 SV% in his last 10 starts. However, he will be in tough tonight as he draws the Blackhawks in Chicago.

Schneider allowed one goal on 34 shots in the Devils win over the Maple Leafs on Friday night. He was given Saturday night off, but will be back in the crease tonight with the Oilers in town. The matchup doesn’t get any better for Schneider, who is 3-0-1 with a 1.21 GAA and .961 SV% since the All Star break.

Varlamov made 28 saves on 29 shots in the in the Avs’ loss to the Wild last night. He will go again tonight having lost two straight despite stopping 54 of 56 (.964 SV%) shots. Tonight he faces a Jets team who have lost six in a row, so get Varly in your lineup.

Varlamov stopped 26 of 27 shots in Colorado’s 3-0 loss to the Red Wings on Thursday. Varly has gone 2-1-1 with a 1.74 GAA and .942 SV% since the All Star break. Tonight he will meet the Wild for the third time this season—he is 0-2-0 with a 4.32 GAA and .901 SV% in the first two games.

He has been much better in the last month and draws a beauty matchup tonight. Schneider has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.93 GAA and .935 SV% vs. the Maple Leafs this season.
