Varlamov is still battling a groin injury that cost him to miss six games from November 15th-December 3rd. There is no word on who will be called up, but if it is Calvin Pickard, he will get the start. Groin injuries with goalies are tricky, so Varly could be held out for awhile.

Schneider allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Devils 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. The win was his 10th of the year and snapped a personal four-game losing skid. His splits are strong (2.54 GAA / .916 SV%) but the Devils 22nd ranked offence limits his chance at racking up wins.
