The Rangers snapped a three-game losing skid on Sunday with Jonathan Quick between the pipes in a 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights, but the team will revert to Shesterkin on Wednesday against the Bruins. The 29-year-old Shesterkin seemed to be turning a corner on a disappointing season, posting a .948 SV% over a seven-game stretch (6-0-1) before following that up by allowing 14 goals in his next three games (0-3-0) and posting a horrid .806 SV%. The Rangers enter Wednesday's contest as sizeable -200 home favorites against a Bruins team that played last night, defeating the Minnesota Wild 3-0.
Morrow has been recalled from Chicago (AHL).
Morrow was a second-round pick, 40th overall, of the Hurricanes in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman made his NHL debut last season, playing two games with the Hurricanes. Morrow has spent the entirety of the 2024-25 season in the AHL, scoring 29 points (10G / 19A) in 41 games with the Chicago Wolves.

After being acquired from the Canucks on Friday night, Miller will suit up Saturday afternoon in Boston. It will be the first time Miller plays for the Rangers since February 25th, 2018 and he comes in with 35 points (9G / 26A) in 40 games this season. It's unclear where he will slot into the lineup and who his linemates will be.
The Canucks have acquired Marcus Pettersson and Drew O'Connor from the Penguins for Danton Heinen, Vincent Desharnais, Melvin Fernström and a 2025 first-round pick.
The Rangers have acquired Jackson Dorrington, J.T. Miller, and Erik Brannstrom from the Canucks for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, and a conditional first-round pick.
A sixth-round draft pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Dorrington is yet to make his professional debut. He is currently playing in his third season with Northeastern University of the NCAA. Dorrington has eight goals and 20 assists in 81 career NCAA games.

Perhaps the most anticipated trade of the 2024-25 NHL season, Miller has finally been relocated back to the Big Apple, waiving his no-trade clause to rejoin the Rangers. On a per game basis, Miller is one of the most productive Canucks of all time, joining Pavel Bure as the organization's only other player to finish their Canuck careers with more than a point per game. Some dressing room turmoil quite obviously led to Miller's early departure, and although he's fallen off from the 102-point player he was a season ago, he's still managed 35 points (9G/26A) in 40 games this season. He brings a much needed offensive boost to a team that desperately needs it in the underperforming Rangers.

Miller is expected to be a scratch for Friday's game in Dallas.
Miller will likely be held out of the lineup due to a potential trade in the works. Frank Seravalli has reported that Miller has verbally agreed to waive his no-trade clause to return to the Rangers, and the two teams are working towards completing a deal.

The Bruins are coming off a disappointing 7-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres and will revert to Korpisalo between the pipes on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets. Korpisalo was tremendous in his most recent outing, saving all 29 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over the Ottawa Senators for his second shutout of the season. The 30-year-old netminder has a 2.70 GAA and .899 SV% in 17 appearances this season (9-4-2). The Bruins enter the action on Thursday as +131 home underdogs against a Jets club outscoring their opposition 17-7 during a four-game winning streak.

The Rangers' 10-game point streak snapped in their previous outing (7-1-3), and they will roll with Shesterkin between the pipes on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. Shesterkin struggled in his most recent outing, allowing five goals on 22 shots (.773 SV%), including the game-deciding goal in the final seconds of a 5-4 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Before that contest, Shesterkin performed excellently, allowing three or fewer goals in seven straight (6-0-1) while posting a .948 SV%. The Rangers enter Tuesday's contest as +125 home underdogs against a Hurricanes squad with points in five straight (4-0-1).
