Shesterkin will start against the Panthers on Monday.

Shesterkin was on the wrong end of a 4-3 shootout loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, snapping his seven-game winning streak, but will return to the crease on Monday. The 28-year-old netminder has been sensational since returning from the All-Star break, allowing fewer than two goals in five of eight games (7-0-1) while boasting an outstanding .948 SV%. Shesterkin led the Rangers onto the ice for warmups.

Shesterkin had the night off in a 4-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday but will tend the twine in a rematch on Wednesday night. After an uncharacteristically inconsistent start to the season, Shesterkin has flipped a switch since the All-Star break, allowing fewer than two goals in four of six games (6-0-0), posting an impressive .951 SV%. Despite losing to them less than a week ago, the Rangers are sizeable -251 home favourites against the Blue Jackets on Wednesday.

Korpisalo will start on Tuesday in Nashville.

Korpisalo will take back the crease on Tuesday after Anton Forsberg gave up six in a loss to Washington in the first part of Ottawa's back-to-back on Monday. The 29-year-old goalie's -14.6 GSAx is far and away the worst among all goalies in the NHL and is a dark spot after he signed a four-year, $20 million contract in the offseason. He will look to halt Nashville's surprising five-game winning streak as Ottawa heads to Bridgestone on Tuesday.
