Quick stopped all 34 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. It was a great way to win his first game of the season and will hopefully get the veteran netminder back on-track. Quick struggled before knee surgery, posting a 4.55 GAA and .845 SV% in four games. He’s had a tough season but tonight he faces an Oilers team that is 27th in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.71 GF/pg).

Trocheck suffered a gruesome injury in Ottawa on Monday night and could miss the rest of the 2018-19 season. The Panthers likely won’t release an official timetable until after Trocheck’s surgery, but their centre depth just took a huge hit. Henrik Borgstrom could be recalled to fill-in for the 25-year-old.
