Domingue will start Saturday in Washington.

Domingue allowed one goal on 12 shots after replacing Mackenzie Blackwood in the Devils loss in New York on Thursday. Since joining the Devils, Domingue has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.99 GAA and .867 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances. Now he faces a Washington team that has gone 5-1-0 in their last six home games, so look elsewhere for a spot-start.

Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. the Devils.

Shesterkin allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Rangers win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Shesterkin had a tough start, giving up two early goals but settled in and recorded a win in his NHL debut. On Thursday he will face a Devils team that has won four of their last five road games (4-1-0) while scoring 3.20 goals per game.

Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Kings win over the Flyers on New Year’s Eve. Jack Campbell started Saturday, so Quick is well-rested coming into tonight’s game vs. Columbus. Quick is 8-5-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .912 SV% on home-ice and the Blue Jackets come in at 2-1-2 while scoring just 2.20 goals per game in their last five.

Shesterkinn will make his NHL debut Tuesday vs. the Avalanche.

Shesterkin has been outstanding in the AHL this season, going 15-4-3 with a 1.93 GAA and .932 SV%, earning a shot at the NHL-level. Incredible numbers are becoming a trend for Shesterkin, who was 71-12-10 with a 1.49 GAA and .940 SV% in his last three years combined in the KHL. He will make his NHL debut against a Colorado team that played last night and have lost six of their last nine (3-5-1).

The Rangers have recalled Igor Shesterkin from Hartford (AHL).

Shesterkin is the Rangers' top goalie prospect and one of the best goalie prospects in the entire NHL. The 24-year-old was a fourth-round pick in 2014 and came over to North America this year. He has dominated at the AHL-level, going 15-4-3 with a 1.93 GAA and .932 SV% and deserves a look at the NHL-level. He had ridiculous numbers in the KHL over the last three seasons, never having a GAA over 1.69 and while posting a .940 SV% and winning 71 of 95 games.

The Bruins have sent Anton Blidh (shoulder) to Providence (AHL) on a long-term injury conditioning loan.

Blidh has yet to play this season after undergoing shoulder surgery in September but will get back up to game-speed with Providence. He spent most of his season there last season, posting 10 goals with 13 assists (23 points) in 74 games.

The Devils recalled Louis Domingue from Binghamton (AHL).

Domingue has gone 4-1-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% in six AHL games this season. He hasn't had nearly as much success in the NHL, going 1-4-0 with a 4.15 GAA and .862 SV% but returns to serve as Mackenzie Blackwood's backup moving forward.

Domingue has been activated from IR and assigned to Binghamton (AHL).

Domingue has been out since December 13th with a lower-body injury, so he'll go get some games down in the AHL before likely returning to the NHL. He has gone 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .918 SV% in four games with Binghamton this season.

de Haan will undergo right shoulder surgery and miss the rest of the season; has been placed on LTIR.

This is the second time in less than a year that de Haan has underwent major surgery on his right shoulder, which is obviously troubling for the Blackhawks who have him under contract through the 2021-22 season. With de Haan out for the year and being moved to LTIR, the Blackhawks gain $4.55M in salary cap relief but it will be difficult for them to replace de Haan through their minor league system or through a trade.

Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Kings loss in Pittsburgh on Saturday. The loss snapped a nice two-game winning streak for Quick, who will start tonight in Boston after getting Sunday night off. He is 2-8-1 with a 3.85 GAA and .865 SV% on the road this season, so stay away from him in a matchup with a Bruins team that is 12-1-5 on home ice.
