Kartye is expected to be a healthy scratch in New York on Monday.

With Jordan Eberle (upper body) expected to return from an injury, Kartye will be the odd-man out of the lineup as a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old Kartye is averaging 10:45 time-on-ice and has seven points (2G / 5A) in 37 games this season.

Korpisalo will start vs. Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Korpisalo was solid in his most recent outing, saving 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames, and will return to the crease on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 31-year-old Korpisalo has a 3.42 GAA and .888 SV% in 16 games this season (7-8-0). The Bruins enter the action as +105 road underdogs.

Laba (upper-body) returned to practice as a full participant on Friday and is a possibility to return on Saturday in Boston.

Laba has not played since suffering an upper-body injury on New Year's Eve, but he returned to practice on Friday. The 22-year-old forward, in his first NHL season, has 12 points (5G / 7A) in 42 games.

Miller (upper-body) has been activated off IR and is expected to return vs. Buffalo on Thursday.

Miller has been sidelined for nearly three weeks because of an upper-body injury, but should return to the lineup on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres. The 32-year-old Miller has a pedestrian 22 points (10G / 22A) in 35 games this season, but was producing at a better rate lately, with eight points (3G / 5A) in his last nine games.

Korpisalo will start vs. Calgary on Thursday.

Korpisalo has not played in nearly two weeks, but was solid in his previous outing, saving 30 of 33 shots (.909 SV%) in a 4-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. The 31-year-old Finnish goalie has a 3.60 GAA and .882 SV% in 15 games this season (6-8-0). The Bruins enter the action on Thursday as -136 home favorites against a Calgary Flames team that played last night, losing 4-1 to the Montreal Canadiens, extending its losing streak to three games (0-3-0).

The Rangers are battling a myriad of key injuries and had a scare on Wednesday when Lafreneiere was absent from practice because of an illness, but he should play on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres. The 24-year-old Lafreniere has been held off the scoresheet in 28 of 44 games this season and continues to be unable to live up to the expectations he garnered when he was drafted first overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He has 24 points (9G / 15A) in 44 games this season.

Shesterkin (lower-body) is expected to head to IR.

Shesterkin was forced to leave Monday's game after being involved in a collision with Utah's JJ Peterka in the first period. Shesterkin struggled to put weight on his left leg while being helped off the ice and was quickly ruled out for the game. He will miss, at minimum, one week before he is eligible to be activated off of Injured Reserve.

Fox (undisclosed) has been placed on LTIR.

Fox was just activated from LTIR and played only three games, and has been placed on LTIR again, meaning he will be sidelined for at least another month. It's unclear if his current injury is related to his previous injury, but nevertheless, it's a crushing blow for a Rangers team that is currently on the outside of the playoff picture. The 30-year-old Fox has 28 points (4G / 24A) in 30 games this season.

Shesterkin (lower-body) will not return to Monday's game against the Mammoth.

Shesterkin was forced to leave Monday's game after being involved in a collision with Utah's JJ Peterka in the first period. Shesterkin struggled to put weight on his left leg while being helped off the ice and was quickly ruled out for the game. We should receive an update on his status ahead of New York's game against the Sabres on Thursday.
