Korpisalo allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Ottawa last Saturday. Korpisalo has gone 5-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA, .915 SV% and one shutout since being called up. He is an interesting spot-start option in Buffalo—the Sabres have lost four straight.

Zibanejad was a late scratch from last night’s game due to a hand injury, but the Rangers are hopeful that he will be able to play on Thursday. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Korpisalo allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win over the Maple Leafs last Wednesday. Korpisalo will start the first game of the Blue Jackets’ back-to-back and Sergei Bobrovsky will start on Sunday. Korpisalo has gone 4-1-0 with a 3.26 GAA and .902 SV% in six games this season.

Korpisalo allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Blue Jackets’ win in New York on January 31st. It is a bit surprising that Sergei Bobrovsky isn’t starting, but Korpisalo will get a chance to face the man he replaced, Curtis McElhinney. Korpisalo is 3-1-0 with a 3.56 GAA and .893 SV% on the year.

Calvin Pickard has played well recently, so the Avalanche likely want to allow Martin to get some games in with San Antonio while Pickard starts with the big club. He has swapped places with Jeremy Smith and goes to the Rampage with a 15-10-0 record, 2.72 GAA and .912 SV% in 28 games.

Martin allowed five goals on 26 shots in Colorado’s loss to San Jose on January 23rd. Martin allowed eight goals on 56 shots (.857 SV%) in his first two NHL starts—both vs. San Jose. Martin will make his third appearance tonight and will come against a Kings team that also played last night.

Korpisalo stopped all five shots that he faced after replacing Sergei Bobrovsky in the Blue Jackets’ loss in Brooklyn last Tuesday. Korpisalo has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .893 SV% in four games since being called up. He draws a terrible matchup vs. a high-scoring Rangers team that has won three of their last four.

Martin gave up three goals on 30 shots in an overtime loss in his NHL debut in San Jose on Saturday. It was a pretty good debut for the 21-year-old, who will get another crack at the Sharks tonight. Despite playing well on Saturday, it is difficult to trust a rookie netminder against an offence with as much firepower as San Jose possesses.

Martin, 21, was a third round pick (No.63 overall) in 2013 and will make his NHL debut tonight in San Jose. Martin comes to the NHL after going 15-9-0 with a 2.62 GAA and .915 SV% in 27 games with San Antonio (AHL) this season, but will be a risky spot-start tonight.
