Ullmark (lower body) left Tuesday's contest late and is being evaluated on Wednesday.

Ullmark was unable to finish Tuesday's game against the Arizona Coyotes, allowing three goals on 35 shots (.914 SV%) before leaving in overtime with a lower-body injury in an eventual 4-3 loss. Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman have almost exclusively split starting time this season, but if Ullmark is out of the lineup for any time, Swayman will take the reigns between the pipes.

Ersson will start Wednesday vs. Montreal.

After a very busy December for Ersson, due in part to Carter Hart being out of the lineup because of an illness, Ersson will make only his second January start on Wednesday. Despite being winless in his last two starts, Ersson has been terrific lately for the Flyers, boasting a stellar .926 SV% in 12 games (8-2-2) since mid-November. The Flyers, who have lost five of their last six (1-3-2), have a favourable matchup as -175 home favourites against a Montreal Canadiens club that has scored three or fewer goals in five of their last six games (2-4-0).

Ullmark will be back between the pipes for the Bruins on Tuesday after Jeremy Swayman got the nod in last night's shootout loss to the Avalanche. Ullmark picked up his third consecutive win in his last time out, allowing three goals on 26 shots as the Bruins defeated the Lightning by a score of 7-3. He owns an impressive 13-5-2 record on the season along with a .915 SV% and a 2.74 GAA. The Bruins find themselves as -165 favourites in Arizona on Tuesday despite being on the tail-end of a back-to-back..

Spence will draw back into the Kings' lineup Tuesday in Florida.

Spence will re-enter the lineup for the Kings as Brandt Clarke will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday. Before coming out of the lineup on Sunday, Spencer played nearly every game for the Kings over the last three months, scoring 12 points (0G / 12A) while averaging 15:11 time-on-ice through 34 games.

Bolduc is expected to be the odd man out of the Islanders' lineup Tuesday vs. Vancouver.

Adam Pelech is expected to make his return to the lineup for the Islanders on Tuesday, making Bolduc a healthy scratch. Bolduc has played each of the last 18 games for the Islanders, registering three points (1G / 2A) while averaging 14:50 time-on-ice.

Tomasino will not be suspended for his five minute major from Thursday night.

Tomasino was originally suspended indefinetly by the NHL for a dirty hit in the Predators' game Thursday but has been deemed good to play Saturday as he will not be punished further for his actions. The 22-year-old has been having a decent offensive season to start 2023-24, with four goals, 11 assists, 47 SOG, 25 PIMs and a -2 plus/minus in 31 games this season.

Cousins was the recipient of a controversial hit from Arizona's Jason Zucker which led to a three-game suspension. The 30-year-old scrappy centre has struggled to produce offensively in 2023-24 with only two goals, three assists, 20 PIMs, 63 SOG and a -10 plus/minus in 37 games played.

The Flyers' goaltending carousel continues Thursday as Samuel Ersson will take the crease for the second time in three games after backing up Carter Hart in a Flyers loss last game. The 24-year-old Swedish netminder has performed well in his second career season, with his 9-5-2 record, 2.54 GAA, .902 SV% and two shutouts so far in 2023-24. He hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets Thursday, who have lost five of their last six games and are 16th in the NHL in goals per game (3.08).
