Brassard returned to the lineup on Thursday, playing 16:40 TOI with three shots in the loss to the Penguins. However, he had a flare-up of his hip issue and is considered doubtful to be in the lineup on Saturday.
The Flyers have added Claude Giroux to the COVID-19 protocol list.
Giroux will miss Tuesday's game in Anaheim after being entering COVID-19 protocol. With Giroux out, Kevin Hayes will likely centre the top line and Morgan Frost, Scott Laughton and Patrick Brown will serve as the Flyers' centre.

Perron has not played since November 26th due to an upper-body injury but will be back on the top line with Ryan O'Reilly and Brandon Saad on Wednesday. Perron has scored seven goals with 11 assists (18 points) in 20 games before getting hurt.

The Senators have signed Tyler Boucher to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Boucher was the No.10 overall pick in this year's NHL Entry Draft and has scored two goals with one assist in 17 games with Boston University. According to Jeff Marek of Sportsnet, Boucher will be heading to the Ottawa 67's (OHL).
The Flyers added Derick Brassard to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday.
Brassard, Carter Hart and Scott Laughton join Sean Couturier, who was added to the protocol list on Sunday. Despite losing four regulars to start the week, they are expected to get Kevin Hayes and Morgan Frost back in time for Wednesday's game.
The Senators added Anton Forsberg to the COVID-19 protocol list on Monday (Dec.27).
Forsberg joins Filip Gustavsson in protocol, which left the Senators with no goalies in Monday's practice. They recalled Matt Murray from the AHL on Tuesday and he would be in-line to start Friday if Forsberg and Gustavsson are unavailable.
The Sabres placed Dylan Cozens in COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.
Cozens and Mark Jankowski were placed on the COVID-19 protocol list on Sunday, joining Zemgus Girgensons, Jeff Skinner and Vinnie Hinostroza, who were on the list prior to the Christmas break. Cozens and Jankowski will likely be out until the middle of next week--the other three are eligible to come off earlier.
