Gilbert has not played since Dec. 18th due to an undisclosed injury but has been activated off the injured reserve Wednesday. The 26-year-old has one assist and 20 PIMs with five SOG through eight games this season prior to the injury.

Lycksell has been recalled for the second time this season after failing to pick up a point in his previous three-game showing with the Flyers. Lycksell had five goals, 13 assists and four PIMs in 19 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) prior to his promotion Wednesday.

Gilbert left the Flames' previous contest Sunday after just 3:51 TOI after a spirited fight led to him leaving the game due to an undisclosed injury. It is a tough bounce for the 26-year-old, who was playing in his first game since Nov. 25th and only has one assist and five SOG through eight games this season.


MacDermid has been out since Nov. 12th due to a lower-body injury but will return to Colorado's lineup Monday. Prior to the injury, the bruising defensemen had one assist, 14 PIMs and just three SOG through eight games played.


Ellers has six goals, 12 points, 14 SOG and 20 PIMs through 30 games played but will play Thursday even though he deals with an undisclosed injury. If he is forced to miss time, the Capital's replacement will need to cover his 15:05 ATOI.
