Vladar is in the starter's crease at Calgary's morning skate.

With the emergence and dominance of rookie Dustin Wolf, Vladar has been limited to only one start in the last five games but will likely return to the crease on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 27-year-old Vladar has been serviceable this season, posting a 2.67 GAA and .903 SV% in 10 games (4-4-2). The Flames enter Wednesday's contest as slight -109 road favorites against a Red Wings club that will likely be without Patrick Kane for a second straight game.

York (upper-body) appears ready to return on Saturday vs. Chicago.

York has been out since October 23rd due to an upper-body injury but looks ready to return on Saturday vs. Chicago after taking part in practice on Friday. The 23-year-old will be welcomed back with open arms as he had two goals, three points and four PIMs in seven games played prior to his injury.

The Maple Leafs have won five of their previous six and will turn to Woll in the crease on Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. He is playing in his first professional season in North America and has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 13 games in the AHL with the Marlies.

Benoit has not played the previous two games but will likely return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 26-year-old Benoit is averaging 15:51 time-on-ice and has two points (0G / 2A) in 17 game this season. He was skating on a defensive pair with Conor Timmins at the morning skate on Wednesday.

Grans has been recalled from Lehigh-Valley (AHL) on an emergency basis and will make his NHL debut on Monday vs. Colorado.

Grans was the second-round pick, 35th overall, of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game but is expected to make his debut vs. Colorado on Monday. He has three points (1G / 2A) in 14 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) this season.

Couturier (lower-body) is questionable to return vs. Buffalo on Saturday.

Flyers' captain Couturier is battling a lower-body injury, did not play on Thursday, and is questionable for Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres. Morgan Frost drew into the lineup on Thursdays as Couturier's replacement. Couturier has eight points (3G / 5A) in 16 games this season but has been held off the scoresheet in 13.
