Luchanko was a healthy scratch for the last two games, so instead of sitting in the press box, the Flyers have sent the 18-year-old back to his junior team. Luchanko had no points in four games with the Flyers and returns to Guelph where he had 74 points (20G / 54A) in 68 games last season.

Konecny was absent from practice on Friday, and his status for Saturday's game against the Minnesota Wild is up in the air. The lowly 1-5-1 Flyers can ill afford to lose their talented forward, Konecy, who has four points (3G / 1A) in seven games this season.

Seven games through the 2024-25 season, York leads all Flyers players, averaging 22:56 time-on-ice. York has also contributed three points (2G / 1A) and will be sorely missed from the Flyers' blueline if he misses any time. The Flyers return to action on Saturday afternoon against the Minnesota Wild.
