Vladar will start on Thursday vs. Carolina.

The Flames have evenly rotated their goalies six games into the season and, being one of four teams without a regulation loss (5-0-1), are happy with the results. Vladar will occupy the Flames crease for the fourth time in seven games on Thursday when they host the Carolina Hurricanes. The 27-year-old Vladar has a 2.63 GAA and .890 SV% in three games (2-0-1). The Flames enter the action on Thursday as +172 home underdogs against a Hurricanes club that scored three unanswered goals to defeat the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday.

Woll has not played since a preseason contest on October 5th but will make his season debut for the Maple Leafs on Thursday night against the St. Louis Blues. The Maple Leafs are sizeable -229 home favorites. The 26-year-old Woll was projected to be the opening night starter for the Maple Leafs but suffered a last-minute lower-body ailment, resulting in him missing the first seven games and pivoting the starting goalie role to Anthony Stolarz. That said, Stolarz has been terrific filling in this season, posting a 1.83 GAA and .938 SV% in five games (3-2-0), which could pose an obstacle for Woll's playing time if he is unable to get off to a hot start. In 25 games played in 2023-24, Woll had a 12-11-1 record with a 2.94 GAA and .907 SV%.

Foerster will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Washington.

Foerster has played all five games for the Flyers this season but will be a healthy scratch after registering a -3 plus/minus and one point (0G / 1A) thus far. The 22-year-old Foerster had impressive rookie campaign last season, tallying 33 points (20G / 13A) in 77 games.

Seeler (lower-body) practiced in full on Monday and is likely to make his season debut on Tuesday vs. Washington.

The Flyers have reassigned Emil Andrae to the Lehigh-Valley Phantoms (AHL), clearing space for Seeler to be activated from Injured Reserve and make his season debut on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. The 31-year-old Seeler appeared in 71 games with the Flyers in 2023-24, tallying a goal, 13 points, 78 PIMs and a +9 plus/minus.

Woll was projected to be the opening night starter for the Maple Leafs but suffered a last-minute lower-body ailment, resulting in him missing the first six games and pivoting the starting goalie role to Anthony Stolarz. That said, Stolarz has been terrific filling in this season, posting a 1.79 GAA and .937 SV% in three games (2-1-0), which could pose an obstacle for Woll's playing time when he returns to the lineup. In 25 games played in 2023-24, Woll had a 12-11-1 record with a 2.94 GAA and .907 SV%. Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube indicated the Woll could be an option for Tuesday's contest against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Jiricek had 10 points (1G / 9A) in 43 games with the Blue Jackets last season. The talented 20-year-old offensive Czech defenseman had an impressive playoff run with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) last season, scoring 11 points (3G / 8A) in 14 games, and is trying to become a full-time NHLer this season.

Aston-Reese (upper-body) is expected to play on Tuesday vs. Florida.

Aston-Reese left Columbus' game vs. Colorado on Saturday after one shift and just 0:34 TOI due to an upper-body injury but is expected to return on Tuesday vs. Florida. The 29-year-old was claimed off of waivers a week ago from Vegas and is expected to be an everyday player in Columbus' lineup.

Vladar will start on Sunday in Edmonton.

Coming off a 6-3 victory vs. Philadelphia on Saturday with Dustin Wolf occupying the crease, Calgary will turn to their other netminder Daniel Vladar on Sunday in Edmonton. The 27-year-old picked up a victory in his first start of the season despite a very average showing (5 GA - .792 SV%) and will look to keep Calgary's undefeated start to the season alive (2-0-0). They head to Edmonton to take on the Oilers, who have struggled mightily out of the gate with their 0-2-0 record and 11 goals against.
