Edmonton has resigned Cam Dineen to a two-year, two-way contract extension.

Edmonton added to its defensive depth on Friday as it signed 26-year-old defender Cam Dineen to a two-year, two-way contract extension. The AHL regular has made one NHL appearance in his career, appearing in 34 games with Arizona in 2021-22. In 2023-24, he had five goals and 25 points in 58 games with Bakersfield (AHL).

The Sharks have acquired Carl Grundstrom from the Kings for Kyle Burroughs.

Grundstrom appeared in 50 games during the 2023-24 season, scoring eight goals with four assists (12 points). Grundstrom has always been a fringe roster player for the Kings but should earn a more permanent role with the Sharks. His last three seasons have been very similar, he's averaged 54 games, 10 goals and six assists (16 points).

Woll will start Game 6 on Thursday vs. Boston.

Woll took over Toronto's crease for Game 5 and was sensational, stopping 27 of 28 shots against (.964 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime victory and will start again in Game 6 in Toronto. The 25-year-old enjoyed an up-and-down injury-filled season, with his 12-11-1 record, 2.94 GAA and .907 SV%. He will look to keep Toronto's season alive on Thursday, as they host their rival the Boston Bruins.

Woll will start Game 5 in Boston on Tuesday.

In a must-win game, the Maple Leafs will turn to Woll in Game 5 for his first start of the series. Woll made his first appearance in game four, saving all five shots he faced in relief of Ilya Samsonov in a 3-1 loss to the Boston Bruins. The 25-year-old netminder had a 2.94 GAA and .907 SV% in 25 games (12-11-1) this season. The Maple Leafs enter action on Tuesday as +144 road underdogs.

Woll has started one of every three games the last several weeks, a trend that continues on Tuesday as the Maple Leafs enter action as +135 road underdogs. Woll has allowed two or fewer goals in two of his last three games (2-1-0), including saving 18 of 20 shots (.900 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Couturier (upper body) will return to Philadelphia's lineup on Tuesday vs. Montreal.

Couturier has missed the Flyers' previous two games with an upper-body injury but will return on Tuesday in Montreal. The 31-year-old reached 70 games played for the first time since 2018-19 last game and has had a decent season with 36 points (11G/25A) after missing all of 2022-23 due to injury.
