Jarry will start Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes.

He takes on the Carolina Hurricanes, who snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Calgary their last time out.

Bemstrom was missing from Wednesday's practice but was on the ice for Thursday's morning skate. He remains questionable to play vs. the Canadiens and is considered a game-time decision. Bemstrom played on the top line on Tuesday but failed to record a point while firing four shots on goal. He's now registered one goal, one assist and 12 shots in three games this season.

Filip Hallander is a game-time decision Tuesday vs. Toronto (illness).

Hallander missed the Penguins' previous game due to an illness but is a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup vs. Toronto. In two games with Pittsburgh, he has no points while averaging 9:58 TOI. Prior to his promotion last week, the young centre in Wilkes-Barre (AHL) had four goals and nine points in 10 games while playing strong defensively with a +7 plus/minus.

Emil Bemstrom will make his season debut Thursday vs. the Flyers

Bemstrom earned his call-up to Columbus after leading the AHL in scoring so far this season with seven goals and 14 points in 10 games played. He also ranks 11th in the AHL in SOG with 35 while adding three of his goals on the PP. He will make his season debut with the Blue Jackets Thursday.

Hallander will make his season debut Wednesday after having a strong showing in Wilkes-Barre (AHL) where he had four goals and nine points in 10 games while playing strong defensively with a +7 plus/minus. He has one career NHL game prior to the promotion.

Carter has not played since October 29th when he was forced to leave a game vs. Seattle with a lower-body injury after just 4:18 TOI. The 37-year-old has been enjoying a nice season with six points (2G/4A) and 19 SOG through his first nine games prior to the injury.
