Skinner has been out since October 24th, but was expected to potentially return this week. He was not on the ice with the Hurricanes this morning, hopefully the second opinion does not reveal a serious injury for Skinner. He had three goals and six assists (nine points) in his first 10 games.

Price stopped 21 of 25 shots in a loss to the WIld on Friday. It was only the second time this season Price has given up more than three goals in a start. He's currently sitting at 6-6-0 with a 2.19 GAA and .932 SV% through 12 starts. Price has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. St. Louis.

The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Dmitry Orlov from the Hershey Bears (AHL).
Orlov, 22, registered two points (one goal, one assist) against the Norfolk Admirals (AHL) last night. He leads the Bears with eight points (two goals, six assists) this season. Orlov tallied an AHL career-high four points (one goal, three assists) on Oct. 19 in the Bears’ 4-0 win over the St. John’s IceCaps.

The Washington Capitals have re-assigned defenseman Dmitry Orlov to the Hershey Bears (AHL).
Orlov has not appear in a game with the Capitals but has earned six points (one goal, five assists) in six games with Hershey this season.

The Kings have recalled Tyler Toffoli.
Toffoli was close to making the Kings out of pre-season, but was sent to Manchester (AHL). He has seven goals and five assists (12 points) in 10 games. He could see top-6 minutes with Jeff Carter on injured reserve.
The Hurricanes have placed Jeff Skinner on IR retroactive to October 24, so he'll be eligible to return at any time.
Skinner has missed Carolina's last two games with an upper-body injury. He has already been ruled out for Friday and Saturday's games against the Lightning and the Rangers. Consider Skinner questionable to return on Tuesday.

Price stopped 26 of 27 shots in a win over the Stars on Tuesday. He has been great lately, winning two of his last three with a 1.34 GAA and .958 SV%. Price has a decent matchup vs. the Wild's 21st ranked offence.

Skinner is scheduled to have an MRI on his upper-body injury.

Price stopped 31 of 32 shots in a 4-1 win over the Ducks on Thursday. It was a nice bounce back performance after giving up four goals in a loss to the Oilers on Tuesday. He will have a tough go on Saturday when the NHL's highest scoring team is in town.

Price allowed more than three goals on Tuesday for the first time since the season opener. He allowed four goals on 32 shots, which also ended his streak of 30-plus saves a .900+ SV% at four. He will look to bounce back tomorrow at home vs. the Ducks.

Price played well but was on the wrong end of a 2-1 score after stopping 35 of 37 shots on Saturday. Price has been excellent through seven starts, winning four of them with a 2.02 GAA and .940 SV%. He has a solid matchup vs. a banged up Oilers squad.
The team said later Trouba never lost consciousness and that he was alert and communicating, even before he was taken to hospital for X-rays and tests.
Good news that Trouba appears OK after the gruesome-looking hit.

Price extended his winning streak to three after backstopping the Habs to a win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday. He allowed three goals on 33 shots but it was enough to get the W. He has a great chance to push the streak to four vs. Nashville.
