The Washington Capitals have recalled Dmitry Orlov from AHL Hershey.
The 22-year-old defenseman has one goal and five assists in four games with Hershey. Orlov has 20 career NHL points in 65 games.

Price allowed two goals on 37 shots in a tough loss to the Sharks on Saturday. Price did all that he could, but the Habs couldn't find a way to beat Antti Niemi. Price has a 2.12 GAA and .937 SV% in 10 appearances but has been held to just five wins. He has a decent matchup vs. a Stars team who is averaging 2.64 goals per game.

Price allowed more than three goals on Tuesday for the first time since the season opener. He allowed four goals on 32 shots, which also ended his streak of 30-plus saves a .900+ SV% at four. He will look to bounce back tomorrow at home vs. the Ducks.

Price played well but was on the wrong end of a 2-1 score after stopping 35 of 37 shots on Saturday. Price has been excellent through seven starts, winning four of them with a 2.02 GAA and .940 SV%. He has a solid matchup vs. a banged up Oilers squad.

Price extended his winning streak to three after backstopping the Habs to a win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday. He allowed three goals on 33 shots but it was enough to get the W. He has a great chance to push the streak to four vs. Nashville.

Price gave up three goals on 25 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Flames. He was given the following night off in Edmonton but will be back between the pipes in his hometown tonight. It isn't a great matchup, but Luongo vs. Price should be fun to watch.

Price struggled down the stretch at the end of last season but played well stopping 34 of 38 shots, albeit in a losing effort to the Maple Leafs on opening night. Toronto also beat Philadelphia on the following night; who Price will face tomorrow as the Habs look to get into the win column.

In his sixth season with the Candiens, Price went 21-13-4 with a 2.59 GAA and .905 SV%. Those numbers were his worst since 2009 and with the Olympics coming this winter, Price will try and make his case for a Team Canada roster spot early in the year. Feel free to deploy him as a solid number-1 fantasy option.
Jeff Skinner who has been dealing with a lower-body injury is back on the ice with the Hurricanes today.
Skinner was always expected to be ready for Carolina's season opener on Friday, so this is good news for Skinner owners. He is expected to start on the Hurricanes third line with Riley Nash and Drayson Bowman.

The Los Angeles Kings have sent Tyler Toffoli to Manchester (AHL).
Toffoli is a great offensive talent who many believed was going to make the Kings roster. He will start the season in the AHL but will likely be the first player called up when the Kings need someone.
Jeff Skinner is doubtful for the last two preseason games because of a lower-body injury.
The Hurricanes injury woes continue as Skinner joins Alex Semin, Tuomo Ruutu, Tim Gleason and Elias Lindholm on the injured list. Consider Skinner day-to-day.
Carey Price will not return in the series against Ottawa due to a lower body injury.
This is terrible news for the Canadiens who face elimination in Game 5 tonight.
