Price is expected to start Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Price stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Canadiens' win in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Cayden Primeau started the following night, so Price is well-rested coming into this superb matchup with the Red Wings. He has won three straight while stopping 83 of the 87 shots (.954 SV%) that he has faced. He is a must-start and arguably the best option on a busy Saturday slate.

Comrie will make his Red Wings debut in Winnipeg.

Comrie stopped all four shots that he faced after replacing Jonathan Bernier in the Red Wings' loss to the Penguins on Saturday. Tonight he will make his first start with Detroit and it will come against the team that drafted him. Comrie is 4-0-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .900 SV% in four AHL games this season and the Jets have won eight of their last 11 (8-2-1) while scoring 3.27 goals per game.

Price will start Friday in New York.

Price allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Canadiens win over the Islanders on Tuesday. Cayden Primeau got the front-end of the Thursday/Friday back-to-back, which leaves Price to face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Price will start Tuesday vs. the Islanders.

Price allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens' loss in Boston on Sunday. Price played a lot better than in recent games but still lost his sixth straight game with a 4.90 GAA and .840 SV%. Those numbers are horrendous but tonight Montreal hosts an Islanders team that played in Detroit last night and are 2-2-1 while scoring just 1.60 goals per game in their last five games.

Price will start Sunday in Boston.

Price allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Canadiens' loss to the Devils on Thursday. Price is in the middle of a terrible stretch, losing five in a row (0-4-1) with a 5.34 GAA and .822 SV% and draws a terrible matchup in Boston on Sunday. He struggled in November last year, so maybe seeing the calendar flip to December will be enough for him to figure things out, but this matchup is for only the most desperate of owners.

The Red Wings have acquired Eric Comrie from the Coyotes for Vili Saarijarvi.

Comrie was originally a second-round pick of the Jets but was claimed off of waivers by the Coyotes during the preseason. Comrie has not appeared in an NHL game this season but has gone 4-0-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .900 SV% in four AHL starts. With Jimmy Howard hurt, Comrie could join the Red Wings immediately and serve as Jonathan Bernier's backup.

Price will start Tuesday in Columbus.

Price allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Canadiens win in Washington last Friday. Keith Kinkaid started Saturday, so Price gets the nod Tuesday in Columbus. Price has won three in a row while stopping 90 of the 96 shots (.938 SV%) that he's faced. One of those wins came against the Blue Jackets, who he'll face again tonight--he stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Columbus last Tuesday.
