Wennberg (lower-body) is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Wennberg missed Sunday’s game in New Jersey with a lower-body injury, but he is expected to play tonight according to head coach John Tortorella. Wennberg has enjoyed a strong season, potting seven goals with 25 assists (32 points) in 59 games.

Klingberg (lower-body) will miss his second straight game on Tuesday.

Klingberg remains day-to-day and will not play tonight in Montreal. There is no word on exactly how serious the injury is, but monitor his status leading up to the Stars’ back-to-back on Friday and Saturday. With Klingberg out, Kris Russell will play on the top pair and top power-play.

Price (lower-body) will not return for 3-4 weeks.

Despite skating over the last week, Price remains at least three weeks away from returning to the Canadiens crease. This is a tough blow for a Habs team that continues to slip in the standings. With Price sidelined until mid-to-late February, Montreal will continue to roll with Mike Condon and Ben Scrivens as their goaltending tandem.

Carey Price
Price (lower-body) has skated two days in a row.

Price is not expected to return until after the All Star break, but he was on the ice for the last two days, which is a big step in him returning in early February. Price’s return would be huge for the Canadiens—he is one of the league’s top net minders and has gone 10-2-0 with a 2.06 GAA and .934 SV% this season.

Price (lower-body) is not expected to return until after the All Star Break.

Price has been sidelined since November 25th because of a lower-body injury and he was originally given a six-week timetable. Next Monday will mark six weeks, but Price has been ruled out for the remainder of January. Monitor Price’s status as the All Star game approaches.

Carey Price
Price (lower-body) will miss a minimum of six weeks; will not require surgery.

Price missed nine games with a lower-body injury earlier in November and aggravated the injury in his third game back. Price will miss at lest six weeks, which means he will miss the Winter Classic and will be out until mid-January. If Price misses six weeks he will miss 18 games, which means Mike Condon has big shoes to fill and will have Dustin Tokarski as his backup.

Price (lower-body) is expected to miss one week; has been placed on IR.

Price aggravated his lower-body injury on Wednesday and was placed on IR to create room to recall Dustin Tokarski. Price will miss at least seven days with the injury. Mike Condon will take over as the Habs’ No. 1.

Price aggravated his lower-body injury in Wednesday’s win over the Rangers.

Price aggravated the same lower-body injury that forced him to miss nine games earlier this month. Mike Condon played well while Price was out and the Canadiens will have to turn to him again it appears. There is no word how long Price will be out, but you have to believe the Canadiens will be extra careful with their star netminder this time around.
