Grubauer was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kraken morning skate.

Grubauer had an outstanding season in 2021, going 30-9-1 with a 1.95 GAA, .922 SV% and seven shutouts, finishing third in Vezina voting. This offseason he signed with the Seattle Kraken, who will be an obvious downgrade from the Avalanche. His rates are sure to take a hit and with a number of player's questionable for Tuesday's opener, he's a risky option vs. a high-powered Vegas team.

The Kraken have signed Adam Larsson to a four-year, $16 million contract.

Larsson was a UFA but was selected by the Kraken in the Expansion Draft and promptly signed to a four-year deal with a $4.0M AAV cap-hit. In his five seasons with the Oilers, Larsson averaged four goals, 13 assists, 256 hits and 159 blocked shots per 82 games. He doesn't bring a lot of offence to the Kraken but will be a steady part of their top-4 in their first year.
