Mahura was a healthy scratch for the last two games and was pushed to the AHL by Hampus Lindholm's return. The 21-year-old defenseman has four points in eight NHL games and one assist in seven AHL games.

Grubauer was pulled after allowing four goals on 15 shots in Colorado's loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Since retuning from injury, Grubauer has gone 1-2-0 with a 3.93 GAA and .886 SV%. He will look to get back on track against an Oilers team that is 9-5-1 while scoring 2.93 goals per game on the road this season.


Larsson has been out since the season opener but is expected to play in Los Angeles. Larsson will replace Matt Benning and skate with Kris Russell on the Oilers' third pair.


Kakko missed the last games with an illness but will play Wednesday vs. the Capitals. Kakko was starting to heat up before falling ill, scoring three goals in his last two games and five in his last seven.

Grubauer has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but will start Tuesday in Calgary. Prior to getting hurt, Grubauer lost three in a row while posting a 3.36 GAA and .905 SV%. He draws a nice matchup in his return, as the Flames have lost four in a row and have been shutout in back-to-back games.

Kakko was a late-scratch in Tampa Bay on Thursday but could play Saturday in Florida. Kakko's return to the lineup would be a welcome sight for the Rangers because the rookie has heated up, scoring five goals in his last seven games.

Grubauer will miss his fourth straight game with a lower-body injury and with Pavel Francouz also out, Adam Werner will make his first career NHL start. Grubauer appears to be getting close, so there's a chance he's back between the pipes in Vancouver on Saturday.

The Avalanche are struggling without Mikko Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog but Grubauer is still keeping them in games. He's lost three of four (1-2-1) while posting a 2.52 GAA and .915 SV% but draws a tough road assignment in Dallas. The Stars have won six of their last seven while scoring 2.86 goals per game.

Hayden played in five straight games but will be replaced by Jesper Boqvist on Saturday. Boqvist will move onto the second line and Wayne Simmonds will move down into Hayden's spot.
