Murray is out indefinitely with a concussion.

Murray was hit in the head by a shot in Monday's practice and has been diagnosed with a concussion. As is always the drill with concussions, Murray does not have a timetable for his return. Pittsburgh will turn to the young duo of Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith once again.

Murray was forced to leave the ice early on Monday after being hit up high by a shot. Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith are both on the ice this morning, which suggests that Jarry will start and Murray will miss at least tonight's game vs. the Devils. Expect an update on Murray's status later today.

The Rangers have acquired Ryan Lindgren, Matt Beleskey, Ryan Spooner, a 2018 1st round pick and a 2019 7th round pick from the Bruins for Rick Nash.

Lindgren was a second round pick of the Bruins (No.49 overall) in 2016 and has picked up seven points (2G / 5A) in 33 games in his second-year at the University of Minnesota.

Grubauer stopped 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 victory over the Sabres his last time out. After Braden Holtby and the Caps preceded to drop back-to-back games, head coach Barry Trotz has opted to go back to Grubauer tonight. He brings a 6-7-3 record and .916 SV% into a solid matchup against the Sabres.

Murray will start against the Hurricanes on Friday.

Murray gave up three goals on 32 shots en route to a 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs on Saturday. The win was the fourth straight for Murray, who’s posted a .940 SV% over that span. He draws a great matchup tonight against the Hurricanes.

Grubauer will start against the Sabres on Monday.

Grubauer stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Capitals’ 5-2 victory over the Wild on Thursday. Monday will mark Grubauer’s third appearance in as many games, after he allowed one goal on 11 shots in relief of Braden Holtby in Saturday’s 6-1 loss to the Blackhawks. He draws a great matchup this afternoon in Buffalo.

Grubauer hasn’t played since February 4th against Vegas, where he stopped 27 of 31 shots (.871 SV%) in a losing effort. Grubauer has proven to be a serviceable backup this season, but he has a difficult task in front of him tonight in the form of the Minnesota Wild.

Murray stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Penguins win in St. Louis on Sunday. Murray has won four of five with a 2.76 GAA and .918 SV% since returning from the death of his father. The Penguins are really heating up right now and Murray is a must-start vs. the Senators this evening.

Murray allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Penguins win over the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Since returning to the Penguins crease, Murray is 3-0-0 with a 3.33 GAA and .900 SV%. The 23-year-old has not been nearly as good on the road as he has on home ice. Luckily for him he catches the Stars on the tail-end of a back-to-back, but they’ve been one of the best home teams in the NHL this season.

Murray allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Penguins win over the Capitals last Friday. He was given Saturday off, so look for him to be back in tonight vs. the Golden Knights. Murray has gone 2-0-0 while stopping 69 of 75 shots (.920 SV%) since returning to the Penguins’ crease. He will go head-to-head with his former teammate Marc-Andre Fleury.
