Pavel Buchnevich will return to the Blues' lineup Thursday vs. Edmonton (lower body)

Buchnevich missed three games due to a lower-body injury but will draw back into the Blues' lineup Thursday as they take on Edmonton. The 27-year-old has been having a very solid season yet again, with nine goals, and 11 assists through 20 games played with 46 SOG.

Jonathan Drouin will be a game-time decision after practising earlier Wednesday (upper body).

Drouin hasn't played since Nov.12th due to an upper-body injury but will likely rejoin the Canadiens' lineup Wednesday after running lines during the morning skate. Prior to his injury, the 27-year-old had four assists, 11 SOG and a -4 plus/minus through 12 games played.

Drouin has not played since Nov.12th due to an upper-body injury but is back and travelling with the team and should be a game-time decision Wednesday vs. Ottawa. He has yet to pick up a goal through 12 games prior to the injury but had four assists, and 11 SOG during that period.

Alexei Toropchenko has been recalled from his conditioning assignment with Springfield (AHL).

Toropchenko has spent the last five games with Springfield (AHL) on a conditioning assignment having put up a goal, two assists and four PIMs in his short stint. He will return to the St. Louis Blues, where he had one goal, six PIMs and a -3 plus/minus in 15 games prior to the injury.

Binnington will start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Binnington allowed three goals on 23 shots (.870 SV%) as he picked up his third straight loss in a defeat vs. Dallas his last time out. The 29-year-old has had a shaky start to the season, posting a 9-8-0 record with a .900 SV% and 3.05 GAA. He is expected to face a lot of rubber Thursday as he takes on the Carolina Hurricanes, who are third in the NHL in shots per game (35.4) and currently on a two-game winning streak.

Thomas missed the Blues' previous game vs. Dallas due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday. The 23-year-old has been one of the more productive St. Louis players' this season, posting four goals, 15 assists and 32 SOG through 21 GP.

Binnington will start Monday vs. the Stars.

Binnington allowed four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%) in a loss to Tampa his last time out. He has been up and down this season with a 9-7-0 record, .901 SV% and 3.05 GAA. He takes on the Dallas Stars who are 1st in the Central Division but have lost three of their last four games.
