Schenn has been out since December 12th but was on the ice for Tuesday's practice and is expected to play Wednesday in Pittsburgh. Schenn will return on the wing and will skate with Ivan Barbashev and Pavel Buchnevich on the third line. Schenn had 10 points (4G / 6A) in 19 games before getting hurt.




Fowler suffered what appeared to be a head/neck/shoulder related upper-body injury when he crashed into the board in Vancouver on Wednesday.

Fowler left Wednesday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return. The Ducks did not have much of an update on his status on Thursday but he was able to skate on his own and is questionable to play in Vegas.



Kyrou has not played since December 11th due to an upper-body injury but will be back on the third line with Tyler Bozak and Logan Brown on Wednesday. Kyrou has nine goals and 16 assists (27 points) in 27 games this season.

Thomas has not played since December 4th due to a lower-body injury but will be back on the second line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Pavel Buchnevich on Wednesday. Thomas has been terrific this season, scoring two goals with 20 assists (22 points) in 24 games this season.



Sundqvist will not be available Sunday in Winnipeg and will likely be out until after the Christmas break.



Fabbri has scored eight goals with six assists (14 points) in 28 games this season. Fabbri has been a solid middle-6 winger for the Red Wings since being acquired in 2020. He'll continue to fill that role for the next three seasons.

Toropchenko was a fourth-round pick (No.113 overall) in 2017 and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday. Toropchenko has five goals and four assists (nine points) in 22 AHL games this season. The Blues will be without David Perron, Robert Thomas and Brayden Schenn on Tuesday, clearing the way for Toropchenko.

Faulk has missed the last six games while in COVID-19 protocol but is set to return to the lineup on Tuesday. Brayden Schenn was moved to IR to open up a roster spot for Faulk to be activated. Faulk has enjoyed a strong start to the season, scoring four goals with six assists (10 points) in 22 games.

Schenn suffered an upper-body injury vs. the Ducks on Sunday and will be forced to miss at least the next three games after being moved to IR. Alexei Toropchenko was called up from the AHL to take Schenn's spot on the roster.
