If Allen’s injury is longterm, Binnington could make his NHL debut next week.
Bjugstad missed the entire month of December because of migraines, but has been practicing and his activation from IR today suggests that he will play for the first time since November 29th. Bjugsad has 12 points (7G / 5A) in 23 games this season.
Fowler has a sprained knee and will be reevaluated later in the week. As of now there is no timetable for his return, but his move to IR means he will miss at least one week.
Fowler left Sunday’s game with a lower-body injury, that the Ducks revealed is a sprained knee. They have not released a timetable for his return, but he will likely miss the remaining three games of the Ducks’ road trip. With Fowler out, the Ducks have recalled Shea Theodore, who could make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

There was no word on the nature or severity of his lower-body injury, but he should be considered questionable for Tuesday’s game. Bjugstad has missed the last eight games with what was an undisclosed injury, but on Tuesday the Panthers announced that he is dealing with migraines. Bjugstad is undergoing a battery of tests to determine what the cause of the migraines is.
Bjugstad still is not practice and will miss his fifth straight game with an upper-body injury on Tuesday. His lack of practice suggests that he will not be back this week.
