Binnington allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Blues loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Binnington has won four of his last six starts while posting a 2.02 GAA, .940 SV% and one shutout. He is showing that last year was not a fluke and tonight he faces his hometown team, who he is 2-0-0 against in his young career while stopping 63 of 67 shots (.940 SV%).

Jordan Binnington
Binnington will start Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

Binnington allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Blues win over the Penguins last Saturday. Jake Allen started on Monday but Binnington will be back in the crease Wednesday in Pittsburgh. He just beat them and has won four of his last five starts while posting a 1.81 GAA, .946 SV% and one shutout, so don't hesitate to start him against a banged-up Penguins team.

Rosen will make his Avalanche debut on Wednesday.

Rosen was recently recalled from Colorado (AHL) and will replace Erik Johnson (lower-body) in the lineup on Wednesday. Rosen, who was acquired in the Tyson Barrie/Nazem Kadri trade, has eight points (1G / 7A) in 13 AHL games this season. He had one goal and one assist in eight career NHL games.

Binnington will start Wednesday in Tampa Bay.

Binnington gave up three goals on 42 shots in the Blues' loss to the Predators on Saturday. Binnington was given the night off on Monday, so he'll go tonight in Tampa Bay. He is 4-2-1 with a 2.67 GAA and .914 SV% in seven road outings this season. In his first start against Tampa Bay, he faced just 18 shots, stopping 17 of them in a 3-1 win. It likely won't be that easy again tonight.

Drouin will have wrist surgery on Monday and is out indefinitely.

Drouin suffered a wrist injury during Friday's game in Washington, was placed on IR on Saturday and will miss several weeks after undergoing surgery on Monday. Tomas Tatar moved back to the top-line with Drouin out and Charles Hudon will likely remain with the team while he is out.

Jonathan Drouin
Binnington will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Binnington allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Blues win in Calgary on Saturday. Binnington has now won five in a row and has given up just 11 goals on 162 shots (.932 SV%) over that stretch. He is proving that the second-half of 2019 was not a fluke and that he is in fact one of the best goalies in the NHL right now. He is a terrific option against a Coyotes team that played in Washington last night.
