Hedman was listed as a game-time decision, but he will be back in the Lightning lineup vs. the Avalanche. He will be paired with Andrej Sustr.

Hedman took part in the Lightning's morning skate and was listed as a game-time decision. His presence on the ice for warmups is a good sign that he will indeed be back in the lineup tonight vs. Colorado.

Hedman skated for the second straight day and said he feels good and expects to play tonight vs. the Avalanche after missing the last two games. Hedman has 20 points (5G / 15A) in 26 games this season.

Hedman was a full participant in practice on Friday and he is in the morning skate today. He was listed as questionable for today, but his availability this morning, is a good sign that he could return to the lineup tonight.

Hedman has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but he participation in practice this morning suggests that he could make a return to the lineup tomorrow vs. the Avalanche. Monitor his status leading up to 7 PM ET puck-drop.

Hedman is not on the ice for the Lightning’s morning skate, so expect him to miss his second straight game with a lower-body injury.

Hedman was injured in the Lightning’s loss last night and will not play tonight vs. the Bruins. He will be replaced by Nikita Nesterov on the blue line and Anton Stralman will take his spot on the Lightning’s top power-play unit. Monitor his status prior to Thursday’s game vs. Edmonton.

Hedman left last night’s loss to the Flyers with a lower-body injury and did not return. Coach Jon Cooper said after the game that “there’s a good chance” that Hedman does not play tonight against the Bruins. The Lightning likely won’t have a morning skate, so we won’t know Hedman’s status until closer to game-time.

Vasilevskiy only had to make 10 saves in the Lightning’s 5-1 win over the Sabres last night. The Lightning wanted to get him another NHL game with Ben Bishop a little banged up, but the Sabres only registering 11 shots wasn’t much of a test for the young net minder.

Perry is in warmups after being listed as questionable so look for him to return tonight vs. the Sharks. Perry has registered 22 points (14G / 8A) in 23 games this season.

The Ducks have sent Max Friberg back to the AHL which is a sign that Perry will be activated from IR and be in the lineup tonight vs. the Sharks. He has been out since December 5th, but this would be a perfect way for the Ducks to end 2014. Perry has 14 goals and eight assists (22 points) in 23 games.

Vasilevskiy gave up three goals on 29 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Penguins last Tuesday. He was 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .940 SV% during his recall. He has been called-up to get another NHL start with Ben Bishop a little banged up. Vasilevskiy makes for a great spot-start in Buffalo tonight.

Perry will take part in the Ducks morning skate on Wednesday and decide after the skate if he will return to the lineup vs. the Sharks.

There is no word on any injury to Ben Bishop or Evgeni Nabokov at this time, but Vasilevskiy will join the Lightning in Buffalo for Wednesday’s game. Vasilevskiy was excellent in his time with the Lightning while Ben Bishop was injured—he went 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .940 SV%.

Perry has been out since December 5th with a sprained knee. Despite skating again on Monday, neither Perry or coach Boudreau would commit to Perry playing tomorrow vs. the Sharks. Monitor Perry’s status during the Ducks’ morning skate tomorrow.

Perry took part in the Ducks optional morning skate, but will not play tonight vs. the Canucks. The next game he is eligible to return in would be Wednesday against the Sharks. Monitor his status leading up to Wednesday.

Perry is not with the team in Arizona he is back skating in Anaheim. This suggests that Perry likely won’t be in the lineup tomorrow either. With Perry out, Devante Smith-Pelly is expected to skate on the first line.

The Ducks did not have a morning skate so there is no indication whether Perry will return to the lineup tonight or not. If Perry does not play, Devante Smith-Pelly should move back to the top-line. There should be an announcement when the team arrives at the rink at 6 PM ET, if not we will have to monitor his status during pre-game warmups at 7:30 PM ET.

With Ben Bishop sidelined with a lower-body injury, Vasilevskiy started three of four games, going 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .940 SV%. His return to the AHL suggests that Bishop will return to the crease on Saturday vs. the Hurricanes.

Vasilevskiy stopped 45 of 47 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Islanders on Saturday. Since his recall he has turned aside 68 of 71 shots (.958 SV%). As good as he has been, he doesn’t draw the best spot-start matchup tonight, but you can take a risk because the Penguins are really banged up.
