Elliott will be in goal on Saturday.

Elliott surrendered five goals on 32 shots in the Blues win in Dallas last Friday. Jake Allen has started four of the last five and played extremely well so Elliott will need a good outing tonight if he wants to start game 1 of the playoffs. He has gone 0-2-0 with a 5.11 GAA and .800 SV% in his first two starts against Minnesota.

Elliott allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Blues 4-1 loss to the Canucks on Tuesday. Jake Allen started last night, but the Blues will go back to Elliott tonight in Dallas. Elliott has gone 1-1-0 against the Stars this season—he won in their first meeting, but was yanked after allowing three goals on six shots in the second matchup.

Vasilevskiy is scheduled to get one start per week and with the Lightning on the tail-end of a back-to-back, he is expected to get the nod tonight vs. Toronto. Vasilevskiy made 33 saves in a 4-3 win over Florida in his last start. Vasilevskiy is an excellent option tonight against a Maple Leafs team who have lost seven of eight.

Hedman was listed as questionable after suffering a lower-body injury last night, but has now been officially given a “day-to-day” tag, which suggests that he will not play tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Slater Koekkoek has been recalled from Syracuse (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut.

Hedman is questionable for Tuesday’s game with an undisclosed injury.

Hedman left yesterday’s game with an undisclosed injury and did not return. The injury could keep him out of Tuesday’s game in Toronto and would be a massive blow to the Lightning’s blue line, who recently lost Jason Garrison and Andrej Sustr.

Elliott gets the nod vs. the Canucks on Monday.

Elliott allowed three goals on just 16 shots in the Blues loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday. He has allowed seven goals on the last 32 shots that he has faced (.781 SV%). Despite the recent struggles, Ken Hitchcock has committed to Elliott as his number-1 guy, so he will stick with him tonight vs. Vancouver. Elliott has gone 12-7-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .912 SV% in 22 starts at home.

Elliott was pulled after allowing four goals on 16 shots in the Blues loss in Minnesota last Saturday. Jake Allen started the last two games but Elliott is expected to start the vast majority of the remaining games. Elliott has gone 4-3-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .919 SV% in March.

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Jets on March 14th. Vasilevskiy has gone 6-4-1 with a 2.35 GAA and .918 SV% in 11 starts and two relief appearances this season. Tonight he will start against a Panthers team who have won five of his last seven starts.
